Came back a few years later and finished this up. Recently charged the AC and it was working but the car was slightly overheating at traffic lights in GA. Bought another fan (part number above). Trimmed it the same way as before and had to trim thew new fan itself in the middle of the shroud...
Now that I've looked at it you are spot on. Need a two port that preferably has a cap like a ford, mazda, or nissan. Harder to find that I thought it would be.
I'm wondering if anyone out there has changed their stock brake reservoir to an aftermarket or different vehicle's reservoir? Couldn't we just use something that has two hoses coming from it?Why?
I have a Motive Power Bleeder that works amazing with my other cars and I really want to use it on...
I can't tell you when my factory horn died but it was probably a decade ago. I found this pair on amazon for $14.60 and had to try them out.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C8F0AUY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Install went super easy. Cut off the OEM connector...
Like many of you I purchased the 2G FAL 325 (flex-a-lite) fans back in the day and bolted them to a fluidyne radiator thinking it was going to be an upgrade and to make room for my FMIC piping. Unfortunately, my main (condensor) fan died after 14 years of faithful service and FAL wanted $150 for...
The NVH ever since I broke my original mounts has been absolutely horrible. I've had gen one poly and now I have full aluminum which you can imagine is LOUD. I’m not trying to break any records here, I’d just like to have a conversation in the car while on decel. Any thoughts on the noise your...
What model Spal fan's are you all purchasing? Two of the same? https://webstore.spalusa.com/en-us/productlist/0118/products/fans/fans+-+high+performance.aspx
I've been struggling with this for a while. I pulled the fpr line today when it wouldn't start and nothing changed. This is really embarrassing. Anything else to try?D
Looks to me like a rear lower control arm. Here, find the which one looks like what you need:http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/mitsubishi,1995,eclipse,2.0l+l4,1205749,suspension,control+arm,10401
I am EXTREMELY pleased with the southbend setup I got from Tim many moons ago. I've had probably 10 or 11 clutch setups (all single disk) in my 300k of driving my talon. This is the best I've had hands down. Easy on your left leg while still being simple to slip. I routinely drive it in Atlanta...
Wait, what? The factory high beam wire is what you need to trigger the solenoid. Just splice it.Look through this. I have the colors of the wires you are looking for at the bottom.http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/how-to-hid-retrofit-97-99-oem-headlights.412804/
Please retrofit your headlights. And if you cannot afford the $300 to do so then look into trimming an HIR bulb so that it fits in the 9006 socket.Putting HID in the stock housing is awful. There is not such a thing as "aiming them right."-Detail
It works awesome on all my other cars. Just going to have to go generic for the talon. The chains are a complete waste of time. Plastic C clamps for woodworking work great at holding the generic mounts on. I just have to build one now.
Update. My modified cap (at stupid expense) Did not seal. I thought it would. I clamped it to be sure. It still failed. Back to the drawing board. :banghead:
ACM,
I think you're going to be correct. My cap is now modded. I still intend to put a clamp around it and give it a shot. I'll obviously do a dry run with the pump before even thinking about adding fluid. Hopefully I don't take a bath in fluid.
I'm guessing that you do not have the stock fuel pressure regulator installed and perhaps the two vac lines from the sensor on the firewall near the brake master cylinder are not connected.
The cap I have. The barb I'll grab at home depot this weekend. The real question for me is how you seal the cap on the underside. Our little rubber diaphragm doesn't look like it's going to seal the cap to the master cylinder when pressurized. This seems especially true once I have to cut a...
I recently picked up a motive power bleeder to aid the bleeding of brakes on the 6-7 cars of my friends and I have to do.Here is what I bought:

Not sure if this is related, but I had an issue where the little radio interference wire on my manifold came unplugged. if it grounded out against the motor, it popped the fuse immediately. Check that little wire.
Can one of you measure the diameter of the inlet/outlet for me? I'm waiting on ups to ship my fmic and I want to order new connectors. I believe I'll need 2.5 to 2.5 id straight but I'd like to confirm.
I work from home 75% of the time. You asked a great question but we have no idea what your skill set is. Look into consulting if you have tech ability/degrees.
