    I finally finished my 6 bolt conversion. I was driving it for about 40 miles an then the CEL came on. I hooked up a obd2 scanner and it read out p0300, p1400, and p1500.     yes, the ground wire was getting hot. How many grounds are there? i checked the battery ground, exhuast ground, and the intake mani. ground. I think i might be forgeting one.

    When breaking a bolt it is all about the leverage. Let the tool work for you, don't work for the tool. like babell2 said get a cheater bar, I use the bar from my jack to add leverage all the time

    I didn't rebuild it myself the first time. I also thought about plugging the oil squirter holes but then I decided not to take the risk. Honestly I wouldn't waste my money with a 7 bolt. you could probably find a used 6bolt short block for the money you would spend on the 7 bolt.

    ok, so I hooked up the solenoid and checked it and it won't hold vacuum. So i just bypassed it for now until I get a new one or something.
