well just bought a 3.5 inch QTP electric cutout so i can open and close it from in the car, well my buddy has one on his civic with and H22 swap and it gave him some nice power with us it should give a shit load and way faster spool up and still be able to keep a desent quiet exhaust on the car...

i would put the oem t stat in there, those auto zone 170s are junk. also i would drill at least one hole in the outer ring of the new t stat that will help out a lot!!!!. it sounds to me like after long driving the t stat is just sticking closed, because its no a good brand. drill a hole or 2...

ya i have a 60-1 and i have a tial 38 and it holds fine wehn i run the whole exhaust. but i have 3.5 electric cutout and when i open it it seems to boost creep slowly becasue its flowing so much faster then using the whole exhaust. when i open the valve its like right before the seat in my car .
