I just thought I would share this since I haven't seen it before. I thought this was a good idea and would compliment the gauge bezel for a somewhat "out of sight" three gauge installation (two in the bezel and one in the column.) Here is the link and a pic...
The best brake pad for your application depends on what you plan on doing with it. The braking system on your car was designed to operate within certain parameters. Please elaborate on what your goals are for the vehicle (i.e.- daily driver, weekend drag racer, dedicated drag car, autocrosser...
Check to make sure that all of the calipers are tightly bolted in place. I had a customer recently ('94 Mitsubishi Eclipse N/A) whose rear caliper upper slide pin on the left side had backed out allowing the caliper to move outward to the wheel when the brakes were applied. His stated complaint...
See if you can buy a set of remanufactured ones from autozone, discount, napa, etc... They usually are under $65 each + core. If you can't find them let me know I'll find a set for you.HTH,
Joe
As they said, check the master cylinder resevoir for fluid level, it is most likely low causing you light to come on during turning (the level float will drop turning the light on.)Next check brake pad thickness on all four corners (on both sides of each rotor.) The hydaulics of the brake...
It actually is quite a pain to do, you need to get enough Steel line (make sure it is the same diameter as the ones that came off, they sell many different sizes.) Many auto stores have line with fittings and flairs already on them. You should only need to flair a 4 or so ends when you cut to...
1) I would think a VSR balancer or similar, but can't say for sure.2) The turbine/ shaft and compressor wheel are balanced together.3) Can't give a quote, call a turbo rebuilding shop who has a balancer.4) Its a lot different than balancing a tire, and more expensive.5) More...
Having been sponsored before (not by them) my opinion is that this is a scam. I wouldn't recommend doing this. :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdownMy $.02,

Maybe you could get this guy to make you one. Be sure to check out his video section. These things are bada$$.http://www.nvbackflow.com/engines/HTH :pJoe
These seem to be quite popular. I will eventually be getting it (rear bar only available) for my 92 TSi AWD.http://www.rernetworking.com/rmdsm/RMDSMtemplate.htmRegards,

Kunoichi10,
I think you are referring to the red and grey Eclipse on that site, am I correct? I wouldn't say that it is a tuner's car, nor would I defend it as one. I will say, "to each his own," and I am not suprised that someone posted it on that site. I mean no offense to the owner, but it...
Don't exhale and then walk away. Exhaled CO2 upsets them (as cribbed from Men's Health magazine.) When the bee leaves resume your work. Or just use Raid like "Thekellbeast" suggested. My $0.02,
Joe
The bearings in a standard ( read: non-ball bearing) turbo ride on a thin film of oil when spinning. If there is no oil, there is no film to ride on... meaning the bearings eat themselves near instantly to the point of death due to metal on metal friction.Joe
I don't know if this has been posted before but I found it hilarious and figured I'd share.1. Turn signals will give away your next move. A real driver never uses them.2. Under no circumstances should you leave a safe distance between you and the car in front of you, or somebody else...
I use the plastic string from a weed whacker spool, pipe cleaners are too expensive when they are that big and copper wire could damage the hose and create a leak inside the car. Just feed it into each of the drain tubes until it comes out the bottom of the car and your clear.Hope this...
