HAHA yes I exist. are you crazy?Even though a dont have a dsm.... I cant call that pile on ebay a dsm.Seems like all the things ive been into over teh years, DSM friends are the only ones ive managed to really keep.the Listing was a joke, but its getting quite a bit of attention so...
Hey,
my car doesnt have the fender well splash guards, and i was wondering, if this winter, is ice going to build up on my intercooler and make it not work?or woudl the air temps inside it, be hot enough to keep ice from forming?
;) I even went through the "I need a better turbo awd"quick list:
92 NT
91 Awd
92 Awd
95 Awd
94 3000gt vr4
98 talon tsi awd
03 ranger xlt
03 Evo 8
07 Colorado LTTheres nothing like looking down and knowing where all those miles came from, all 8,000 of them haha.Id have...
I agree, take SS auto for example,Their 2g FMIC kits were Identical to the AGP kits, for a big savings,
yet their turbo kits were made out of glue and paperclips
I know I miss mine sometimes,
i had a better time with the dsm's than the 03 Evo.Now i have a colorado and a Thundercat 4wheeler, more thrilling than any dsm, lol
the thing to keep in mind, is while the turbo is running at the same PSI your stock t25 was, its actually pushing a Larger volume of air. even at the same PSI, this creates a higher need for fuel.id run it lower than 15psi. and get a fuel pump .and get a way to makesure your not...
I sold my last dsm and bought a truck.a 2000 Ranger 4.0 king cab 4x4..... auto even, lol.and Ill tell you one thing, driving is 100 times better. I dont exhaust myself looking from guage to guage, listening for any perculier noise, sniffing the air, and everytime i pass a house burning...
that is retarded.there is 22 spline and 23 spline.im not sure which was which but one was early, and then it has been the other ever since, but your car is a 94, and you swapped from a 92? that will match. sounds like a big heaping load of crap to me.think about it, how could a 22...
yes, that is what most people do, If you look under the Engine section on most sites, youll see someting called a catch can, this will catch the oil vapors from the VC.taboo speed shop used to have a vaccuum diagram eliminating un necessary vac hoses.your stock intake has, 2 hoses, the...
slowboyracing has them.
turbotrix has them
Roadraceengineering has them
dsmparts has themall .com sSome of the shops will include the appropriate tbolt clamps with them.
;)Yea, our confusion was when you said before the MAF, i thought you meant between the TB and the MAF, lol...
Well, when you rotate the shaft, its either going to shorten the distance, or incease the distance. If you increase the distance, it will Increase the push travel.if you reduce the distance, it will reduce the amount of travel. You cant mess it up really, just loosed the nut, and turn...
Did the fluid run out of your rear?or did it just fail. Its probly a 4bolt rearend, you could unbolt the driveshaft, jack it up and see if the rear will spin by hand. You may contact some of these JDM dealers, ask them about a Rear differential form a gvr4.Might get a cheap deal...
Its the pushrod adjustment on the master cyl. Loosen the Nut, and spin the shaft to increase or reduce distance.might make a difference. I had a 92 NT that had tranny problems. I adjusted it out as far as it would go, Made it feel kinda wierd shifting, but stopped the grinds.I...
with the 550cc you will be running rich.stock is 450cc, you know this im sure. so obviously you will be running rich unless you compensate. How do you plan to tune? what methods.or by "Also, should the 550s drive without any changes to the fuel system?" do you mean fuel pump, ???
Id check the brakes on the rear end, make sure they arent locked up for frozen, check for excessive wear on the rotors.Check the fluid in the rear differential.your problem is more likely to be xcase related.CHeck the fluid in the Transfer case, Inspect the trasfer case surface for...
mabye you should try and bleed out the clutch system on the 94.
if its easier to press, then there is Less pressure in the system, Or the clutch is worn out.since you didnt mention any grinding, Id say you either have a leaking or worn Master or slave cyl, or just need to bleed it out...
A) Transmission Synchonizers, typical for 1g's
B) Clutch system isnt working 100%Since you said both cars are doing it, are they comparable in condition? i think its just stock 1g tranny blues.
im still not sure what you talkin about.you will be Completly removing the stock MAF. Its gone.OR are you using your gm maf in a Draw through setup?either way,
I think I know what you are talking about. Are you refering to the Piece that will allow you to remove the sensor from your intake setup. Yet allow the filter and junk to still mount to the pipe? This perhaps?

WOW,you are required to modify the mileage to be Legal? That is someting that is looked upon as a NO NO as far as ive known.
are you sure that is the only way? You cant have the mileage documented and recorded on the title?as far as that goes though, I read about guys taking the...
mabye try a known good Power Transister.if yours was acting wierd.otherwise i dont know of any way to single out the tach guage.
just pickup a lowermile cluster off ebay, lol.
I always tried to do my wiring using a source that if it got shorted out going down the road, it wouldnt leave me sitting, worse case on the cigar fuse - cant light cigars anymore.
You will find that poking a SLIT in the steering wheel boot on the firewall will provide you a nice spot to push through your wires. just make sure when you are routing then inside the car you keep them clear of pedal movement, and choose your engine bay routing likewise safely.I always just...
