Changing the fuel filter is not hard, its located on the left side of the firewall and looks like a medium sized black canister, you jsut have to remove the two fuel lines going to it and then jsut swap it out, pretty easy. As far as changing the injectors, thats not really that hard either...

Yes, my best adsvice is to make sure your timing marks are dead on, and if you do get the belt on and realize that they are off, dont be lazy, take the timing belt off again and fix it.

You say you just removed the a/c, so i m assuming you pulled the condensor and the a/c pump off the block. Did you get all the lines for the a/c also? As far as wires/ fuses, if you look in the top far right corner of the engine bay, you ll find a fuse box that is for nothing other than a/c...

My little brother bracket races his 91 Tsi AWD every sunday. The track told him that he could not run coolant in the car, so he runs water with a bottle of redline water wetter. Belive it or not, his temp gauge stays lower than normal, even on the long highway trips back from the track.

For anyone that might come acrossed this problem in the future. Check the O2 snesor, thats what did it to mine.

Heres the gauge mount I made from the stock center vent, and heres a shot of the cutout I put in that replaces the cat. My littel bro did all of the welding, and he s only 17, so dont be too harsh on the weld job. Also, I mounted my TT in the ribbed trim piece on the console.

Yes, as far as I know, the N/T heads are the exact same as the Turbo heads, except for the differences you mentioned, being the valves, and cams. Also, the Intake mani is the same. I would find another shop.

I use a pair of needle nose plyers for the piston. As far as replacing a wheel stud, assuming the axle hub is the same as my AWD, you have to knock the old stud out, and then put the new one in.
