That car will take a commitment and ur gonna need space and resources ...especially if u use this one for parts/swap to a good roller ...which would be my goal ...windshield is good ? ...that would pay for the car if u get it cheap

I have an ECU from Motorguys ( bought it second hand socketed with some chips )and the board looks professionally done and works fine so got it as a spare...when the caps are done the from what i've seen they will be higher off the circuit board than original

Switched the pins and runs like a top. :hellyeah: (and the tach still works !!:)) Thanks so much for taking the time to share your knowledge! And the thread "How to remove/replace pins in harness connectors" was a great help, even with the pics no longer available the explaination guided me...

My 1990 Eagle Talon TSi manual won't rev past 1500 rpm unless I pretty well floor it, it idles ok and starts normal.Some background the car was running fine until the ECU died. I checked the MPI and it was fine, found caps in the ecu leaking , changed out the ECU with one from a 1991. (wierd...

Mark all ur housings and the center housing so you can clock them correctly on reassembly...but i can see that the compressor wheel is damaged and has contacted the compressor housing ..so the new wheel and existing shaft need to be balanced at the least ...more of a job for a Pro rather than a...

I remember my mechanic brother in the 1970's raving about HEI ignition ...was so simple ,reliable and strong spark ..MSD a step beyond !!..makes you wonder how all those high compression big blocks made power with breaker points ...always good to have new tech married to old iron !!

Being on an Island in the North Atlantic we get the double whammo of salt spray from the ocean along with anything driven in the winter months getting salt and sand blasted on the roads ...unless you get rust prevention done sprayed in the body panels and undercarriage rust can start poking thru...
