hi guys, i just bought a COMPLETLY stock 98 gs-t and it seems to lose alot of power (push ya back in the seat) @ 5k, is this normal for a stock eclipse? i tested for boost leaks and there was none, also changed the oil, and spark plugs since i just seafoamed the engine. thanks!
eh, if i was out of line by thinking it was funny...sorry, i just didn't think it would be nessecary to run that big of injector except for extremely high output. i'll keep my comments to myself from now on :(

seriously though you don't need that big of injectors for that small of forced induction, you might as well just poor gas cans into your cylinders

i'm almost positive that those high numbers are coming from your voltage regulator gone bad..take your car to an electrical shop and they should rebuild your alt. and you'll be fine
you could always try good ole wd-40 and work the plug back and forth until it came out. try not to strip the head though ;o and pending on how much wd-40 you use you might need to vacuum it out of your cylinder and/or oil flush

as far as i know it has only been recharged and no other matience has been done to it. i didn't charge the a/c, i took it to a chrysler dealership to check it out and make sure it was in good condition. how can you tell if the drier and evaporator needs replacing?

you turn the wheel like thing that is connected to that wire, you can rev up or down your engine which is actually just opening or shutting your throttle.
btw, idk if it matters or not but when i shut the car off and leave it for an hour or two and then turn it back on, idle is normal. then drive it around and it gets the surge/high idle :/ and i think i might have put this in the wrong forum D: if so mod please move me :D
i have a problem w/ idle surge too but a little different (it's so random). sometimes it throws a p0505, most of the time it doesn't. it always runs fine when the engine is cold (800-1200rpm) but when it warms up sometimes it idle surges when the a/c isn't on (when the a/c is on it idles high...

ya if your going 1g's get the ones w/ the 6 bolt crank and 4 bolt rear; if your going 2g, the 97's are the "crankwalk kings" and oddly enough 99's an 95's have the least rate of crankwalk (according to hear-say)
