UpdateWell I got a replacement ecu and i was right the idle drivers were bad in the old one. The iac now moves and work. Unfortunately I'm still having the same idle problems. I guess the next step is to try a boost leak test in hopes to find something.

Welcome, i would test the IAC and check that out first. these cars seem to have alot of problems stemming from the IAC.

I wasn't able to pull the IAC to test because it was too dark by the time I got home. I did pull off the connector and test it though. It's getting 12 volts to the 2 center plugs on the connector. Is this a good sign that the ecu drivers aren't fried yet? I should be able to pull the IAC...

Yeah its been upgraded to a 14g so that makes sense. I havent noticed any oil leaking from around this port yet but then again Ive barely driven the car since I bought it.

I was noticing that most oil feed lines i see are ran from a banjo bolt on the side of the head. For some reason mine is ran from a spot that was tapped into right next to that, on the front of the head. Why would the previous owner run it like that? Is this an ok method to use for the feed line?

Man east side of atl seems like it's getting all the reputable tuner shops now. I need something near marietta or northwest for it to be convenient. I really don't want to have to drive in traffic out that way.

Got the starting problem fixed. Guess the clutch safety switch burned out since it was engaged for a week and a half. I unplugged the switch and it started up as always.I got under the car to look at the slave. It was pretty oily down there but I'm not sure if it was from the slave or just...

Got to thinking about the starting issue and was wondering if it could be the clutch safety switch. I don't know why it would stop working from the pedal being pressed down for a week but who knows maybe it's possible. It's still making contact and releasing when depressing the clutch. Stupid...
