Ummm, I think the UDP is the WORST value for modding, but as long as you like it, go for it. I'd say either a header or intake is a good way to go next.:thumb:
It would be pretty sweet for an NT setup. Just remember its tough to run over 11.5:1 on pump gas. Tuning is the thing that you need to worry about w/a high performance motor like that.:thumb:
Ummmm, the transfer case is what makes your car AWD. It transfers power to the rear wheels. The leaky part is a recall Mitsu/Chrysler is doing b/c the yokes/seals are leaky from the factory.
Ummmmmm, I think you mean "rebuilt" right? You can't "respool" your turbo. Anyway, you should check for boost leaks b/f you rebuild your turbo. Is it burning any oil?
It depends on how much money you have to spend on maintenance. I'd do:
oil/filter change
coolant flush/top off
check trans fluid
check air pressure in tires
check brake wear
change fuel filterAnd probably some other stuff I forgot. But that's a good start.
So, he's selling the complete turbo-back for 250? JUMP ON IT MAN!! That's a steal. Go for it. Its a great exhaust that sounds deep and gives excellent power increases.:thumb:
Uh, any time a car knocks for no reason, that isn't good.;) I would take it for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong test drive and make sure EVERYTHING is fine. Doesn't sound like a very solid car, but could be I suppose. Just don't make an impulse buy.
All JDM engines are 6-bolts. There are very slight differences that shouldn't cause a great deal of problems. And yes, go ahead and take the Cyclone mani off.
Yeah, the crank pulley is an UDP.I love the guy with the header saying this:And the mid-pipe seems okay. Its 2.25" so its good for an NT. And you should be able to hook that straight up to your muffler to have a cat-back.
Ummmmm, I'll give this a shot. I think I know what you're asking. Most NT guys start with intake, header and exhaust. That should bump you like 10-15 hp. And about the cams, Crower makes a good set for the 420A. Go to www.crower.com and look under your car and you'll find they have 3(?)...
You are really taking your chances on Ebay coilovers. I would just get springs. However, you will need new, aftermarket shocks b/c your stockers will die in short order if you lower your car. Just a heads up.
ECU--Engine Control Unit, or something to that effect. Some folks think it means something else, but they all mean the same thing. Its the computer.AFC--Air Fuel Controller, controls air/fuel mixture for tuning purposes.
Well, if you need a clutch anyway, what does it matter? You can't drive your car with a bad clutch, so you have to replace it, right? I've never heard of what you're proposing there, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I say get whatever clutch you want and deal with CW if it happens...
The 17" GSX wheels are 6.5" wide and I believe 16" DSM wheels are 6" wide. The 3G RX7 wheels will fit(16") and are pretty light. They are a good replacement wheel. Try the trader for some RX7 wheels.
