So the stock ones go in just fine and you can hear the click however with the ebay ones they just wont fit at all, the sizing is right but they just dont seem to want to go in place
Bought theses smoked side marker lights on ebay. Only difference I see between stock and the aftermarket is the little clip part on closest to the wheel on the stock lights have a slope to it and the new ones don't
What flange fits a Forge blow off valve. VRSF told me the 1g fits but it must be for another model because it doesn't fit on mine, just kinda sits inside. I researched a little and couldn't find anything
Ok well I fixed the idle part because I'm an idiot and forgot to connect the hose from the crank crank back onto the intake and the MAF sensor. I'm still having problems with the BOV securement though. Pops right out of the flange with any gas
Put a vrsf front mount on and the BOV kinda just sits in the flange and I want to know how to secure it. After the front mount install and new gauge setup it sounds really lopey.
My Front mount came today and I'm having a hard time installing the j pipe. The left screw goes in just fine. However the right screw is a pain in the ass. You can't fit a single tool inside to get it tight or even to thread in. Yes I know the picture was taken with the wrong bolts but now I'm...
Turbo is still on, had to pack up for the night. Found out the smaller base the socket adapts to will work I just have to find the right size. Other than that the driver side bolt was a breeze.
Getting ready to install a front mount and I can't get the J pipe bolts off. Blasted them with PB and no luck. Is there an easier way or a trick to get them off? I'm using a screwdriver with a Allen key adapter.
I am trying to figure out what CF hood to go with but one thing i am stuck on is the look of some hoods. I want my hood to look like the first three pictures attached and wondering what the difference in appearance is from the next two pictures. Is the reason you can see the carbon weave just...
Car is weekend driven so it doesn't sit long but it will do it every time. As for the fuel filter, I actually haven't check it. I was going to replace with a fuel lab fuel filter when I got it the money. I'll have to check tomorrow.
I've had this problem since I bought the car and it also happens in warm weather but the issue is when the car is below op temp and when I'm taking of from a stop sign or whatever it may be and I hit boost only a little bit, it feels like I have an anchor behind me holding me back. If I back off...
I'm stock height right now but do plan on going lower. I was just worried about knuckle clearance but based on what you run, they should work just fine
Looking into buying new wheels and have searched both dsmtuners and dsmtalk for what I am looking for but I want to see if anyone else is running the same setup. I wan't to know if 18x8.5 wheels with a 35mm offset wrapped in 225x40 front and 235x40 rear on a stock 2g suspension will fit...
So I decided to tackle the #1 thing that NEEDS to be done before I do any extensive modding. The driver side strut tower is absolutely gone. You can press on any spot except around the strut bolts and it will flex. So I want to hear what you guys have to say and if you have any tips let me know...
Can't really tell, it goes into the back of my pillar pod from under the dash and I'm pretty sure that it's for the AFR even though its in a weird spot. I'll have to pull the pod or follow the wire to see exactly where it goes tomorrow.
I was wondering if this was a Wideband o2 or just a regular AFR. The connected yellow cable goes back into the firewall and is spidered through out the underside of the dash. sorry for bad quality
Ok so I figured it out. On my car at least, the stock headlight tabs were actually bent up or closer to the orange clip then the OEM ones from RockAuto so I had to slightly bend the tabs up for them to fit properly.
Replacing the headlights in my 2g and bought OEM replacements from rockauto and I cant get the factory headlight harness to plug into the new headlight.
