if this side is gonna delete my post that was posted in the right section, with info people should be aware of, go a head and delete my account.
I'm not gonna waste my time here if thats how the site operates now.
i would think the 2g euro-spec transmission is basically the exact same as the 2g GST trans. If anything is different, i would assume would only be the gearing and/or clutch assembly.
the impact sensors are under the fenders. around where the headlight and fender meet.
I would make sure the clock spring and airbag on the steering wheel are connected. seems more likely than the impact sensor
on the passenger side the impact sensor splits off the harness in the same place as the turn signal bulb.
on the drivers side, its the plug after the turn signal bulb
they are not the same.
if you have a 420a flange and try to match it to say a 2.4 spyder header, it doesn't work that well. but if you have the opposite a 4g64 header flange, you can mate it to a 420a runners if you cut them right.I can get you measurements of some sort. Ill get them up...
so the only difference between those injectors and the ID injectors for your car will be the lower seats.
those have a 14mm o-ring seal, the 1g/2g ones have a denso lower cushion for the seal. If the injectors don't seal with the 14mm o-ring, it looks like you can cut off the plastic retainer...
you need the switch, relay, foglights with brackets and the bezels. You can probably cut you stock bezels to work if you'd rather do that.
i know the 98-99 cars have the plug for the switch but i'm not sure about other years, so you should check to make sure you have it on your harness. same...
was the relay clicking on and off?
if it was, try swapping out the relay. if that doesn't work check the ground, if thats good, next time it won't start, check to see if its getting voltage at the (+) side of the coil (86 on the diagram).
if your looking for flange bolts, you can always get them from honda
70mm part# 90051-PE0-000
130mm part# 95701-12130-08not too sure if the 160mm bolts have a 17mm head cause they are for a motorcycle so i haven't actually seen one.
160mm part# 95801-12160-08
ive only seen them loosen on automatics. but i'm sure your right, the torque wasn't correct.the only things i really use thread locker on are the flexplate bolts on a modular, red on the bolts to the crank and blue on the other 4. if its a regular clutch i use red for the crank bolts and...
boosted fabrications makes the only decent slut bars i've seen for a while now.https://www.boostedfabrication.com/collections/1g-dsm/products/1g-solid-front-strut-bar
i think you should go with the EV and hook up
pieceofcloth
with your unwanted GVR4.
I'm sure there are alot of us on here that wouldn't mind getting it running. If your into the EV thing, might as well let some one else enjoy that outdated gas vehicle. 🏎️
you could take a drive to a neighboring state and get a cat installed there.i'm gonna be working a 95 gsx later today. i'll try to remember to take a picture of the label if it has one.
doesn't need to wonder anymore about the phone, as he is correct.
A little off on the pager, as they are in a drawer.Doesn't realize his car is older than the pagers in the drawer
doesn't know that profiles can not be updated if your running a linux live distro and an out of date browser, (firefox version 52 , current version is 92)
because his software is always up to date
stock injectors flow 235cc @ 43.5psi
Stock injectors flow 250cc @ 50psi14:1 is too high. if you were on stock injectors @ 50psi and you ran 5psi boost
your fuel system would be at 120psi or 115psi if you accounted for the pressure differential.
I wouldn't run more than 5psi on a 12:1 rate...
people used to use the emanage alot back in the day. Its a way better option than a sFMU.so at stock fuel pressure the ecu can compensate for a 250cc injector.
250cc is just slightly bigger than the stock one.
stock is something like a 240cc
stock fuel pressure is 47-50psiif your car...
they have compression fitting for fixing hard fuel lines.
But if you can't get the line cut clean and get a ferule on it, its not what you wanna use.
Is there any way you could just post up a few pictures of what your working with.
There is a few thing you could do but knowing which one to go...
so you should be getting roughly half and ohm between pin 1 and 2, the same between 2 and 3.does your ASD relay test good? i attached the section of the neon manual that explains the ignition system.
Sorry, but its hard to tell. It looks kinda sketchy when your 1st post is "email me". I will get you the pinouts here shortly. Did you want the wiring diagrams too?
if you need parts for your swap let me know. i have just about everything except a few sensors that were repurposed and i don't have a MT, just a regular AT. Tranny has a fairly new pump (under 10K) and it has the revised wave ring. It didn't shift smooth though it kinda jerked.
the...
a standalone won't effect the headlight circuit in any way.echo-eclipse,
that valve cover is f***in sweet :hellyeah:a few things i noticed,
you may need to rotate your CHRA a little, looks like the top needs to rotate away from the engine. Off the top of my head, its like 10...
i couldn't tell you if youd be okay with 80 weight, probably but,
personally i would grab 2 quarts of 75w-90 and throw in 1qt of the 80 and 1qt of the 90. then i keep the other two for the next time i changed it.
so which 6g7 are you gonna use?
The engine out SOHC 6g72 out of the 3g kinda sucks.
Im not sure about the 6g75. All i have ever done on those is change out the timing tensioner for the updated one that doesn't suck.
Going with a manual transmission is the right choice. Can you get a 6 speed...
I only found 3 places that show they had a 95 harness, one was for an automatic transmission so i didn't list it.
Before you buy one, make sure and check that it has a single connector for the PCM (ECU) and that its for a manual transmission.96-99 all have 2 connectors for the ECUi posted up...
this tells what the parts are made of. Some pieces need adhesion promoter and there are different epoxies and shit for the different polymers. it might come in handy with all the work your doing on ur car
