ECMlink Factory ecu spark dwell time?

That's good to know, I appreciate your input. I'm just looking for a potential way around a cdi when it comes time, I'd rather not waste money on something that has been known to take a dump in a couple months.

ECMlink Factory ecu spark dwell time?

I've been looking into r35 and r8 coils specifically since they are supposedly stronger than the factory system without a cdi and they just plain look cleaner. In ecmlink you can't adjust the spark dwell in any way that i know of so I was wondering if anyone has some knowledge on the factory...

2G Oil leak at high boost from cap

If it's not the caps fault check the pcv valve and make sure it's closing under boost.

ECMlink 15 degrees of knock. Is this safe?

If your timing is indeed at 5 degrees btdc your spark plugs will tell you what you want to know, or point you in the correct direction. Make sure the plug gap is between .026" and .030. If the gap is to big it could miss and pick it up as knock or if its to tight it could knock, either way the...

    no boost in 1st gear??

Make sure you don't have any boost leaks anywhere from the turbo compressor housing to the intake manifold gasket, make sure you dont have any exhaust leaks anywhere before the turbo including the wastegate. You shouldnt have that problem on a 16g unless there is something critically wrong with it.

GVR-4 2.1 stroker build combo opinions

Sounds like a nice build. I'd dump the mass airflow sensor for a speed density setup since you have ecmlink, the preloaded ve table is pretty good as it is. I wouldnt think the 70mm throttle body is necessary but if you already have it or can get it for a good deal go for it.

    Oil has coolant in it

A compression test will most likely tell you if it's the headhasket.

    BOV recirculating tube

You can use a diamond hole saw to cut a hole in the intake pipe then braze an aluminum pipe in if you cant weld aluminum. Make sure the pipe and hole saw are the same size as you bov outlet or very similar.

White smoke out the tail pipe

It could be your headgasket. Check for oil leaking from the headgasket by the oil passages. A compression test could give you some info if any of the cylinders are noticeably lower than the others, most likely 2 and 3 would be. Pressurizing the coolant system could tell you if you have a...

    More boost

The car will run a bit rich with the 660cc injectors, you could get away with 550cc injectors and a 2g maf without any tuning software most likely. I dont think the 14b will flow enough to cause your bov to leak, if it does then crush it untill it almost touches the nipple.

ECMlink link newbie please look at my log and advise

If your spark plug gap is .9mm which is .035in that could be causing your engine to miss and pick it up as knock. It should be more around .024in to .032in which is .6mm to .8mm. Don't know what your log looks like since i'm on mobile. Just a possibility.

turned up mbc but still holds 13

When you say spikes at 13lbs does it hold the boost steady or drop lower than that if you keep in boost? If so make sure your airfilter is not collapsing.
