Speaker wire can work if you get the proper gauge. You will need to look at the draw of the 3 gauges to determine wire gauge. Personally I don't like to use speaker wire.

The beast from JD2 is hands down the best tubing notcher I've ever owned. It was rather pricey but so worth every penny compared to using my Bridgeport or smaller notcher.

I would recomended picking up a copy of the FSM. They have step by step cam removale procedure along with all the torque specs.

I would still install a map sensor to log boost even though you are running a gm maf.

I'm in the middle of doing an auto swap. Built 2g trans, T-Case rebuilt and has frontline fab brace and rear is already 4 bolt so just rebuilding it and swapping ring & pinion.Injector Dynamics 1000cc Injectors and Link V3 for fuel.Bottom is fine for now compression and leak down were all good.

Are you looking for the torque converter lockup solenoid? If so its located on the valve body.

Yes hookup would be the same as a A1000.

When you adjusted the BISS were you looking at link or another scan tool at the ISC Position? If so what is it set at? ISC Position should be around 30.

1/8" BSPT they do not really have a "torque spec". That said parker fittings calls out for 2-3 T.F.F.T (turns from finger tight) for 1/8" BPST.

I would pull the dash apart some more as stated above. Give yourself some more room to work. I have a 90 deg pick that works well in these situations.

I would recommend installing a heli-coil. Any other way is just a band-aid and you will end up with leaks. IMO

I always use Redline MT-90 in my 1g AWD trans.
