Not to be "that guy" but psi is relative, 12 psi with the right setup could be more than 400hp... lbs/min is what you should look at to actually be relevant. Sorry to rant and steal the post, just a pet peeve of mine as car culture is rampant with a misunderstanding of psi... For example an...
Price: $450 OBO
Location: McHenry, IL (60050)Used 6-bolt Magnus SMIM, shows some age but it's overall a good unit. Bunged for direct port nitrous, currently plugged. Has some goop around one of the runners, not sure what it is, was there when I purchased. Too many projects so selling some...

Well here's a much overdue update with the fuel cell that I installed. As you can tell it's streetcar sized but it fit well and still left a little room in the trunk for my detailing supplies along with a little space for groceries!! Still need to hook up the fuel gauge I bought but for now I'm...
Well it runs much better now, the stock 1g base timing map was too aggressive around the idle area, once I smoothed/retarded the idle range of the timing map it idled great, the surge was just caused by an aggressive timing advance, thanks to dmertz on the ecmtuning forum I was reminded of...
It can run off the fuel in the lines, at idle you don't burn through gas quickly... pretty sure it's my iac motor just was looking for a second opinion... coils were good but it doesn't move as much as I thought it should so ordered a new one, and hopefully that will solve the problem...
When cold the car doesn't seem to mind much about turning the fuel pump on, however once I drive the car for a few minutes it doesn't want to idle with the fuel pump on- it will surge and cause a rough idle- if I turn off the car then it wont run with the fuel pump on unless pedalling it...
As of yesterday ordered a Black 20Gal Fuel Cell, AEM 380LPH Fuel Pump(Inline), Russell Fuel Filter, Glowshift Fuel Level Guage, and a braided return line... So shouldn't have any fuel leaks anymore, also it's a larger fuel pump...
Made an edit to the original post at the top, with resolution. Unfortunately my factory return line gave up on me, or I would be working on dialing in cruise/wot... at this moment I can't afford to fix it so looks like it'll be sitting again...
*Realized my running temps were out of range for it to cycle... it's easy to forget simple things sometimes*LTFT stays static at 7.4% regardless of global changes and deadtime... I'm gonna attach a log as well of idle in case you guys see anything else odd... First time tuning anything that...
Well engine bay still makes me cringe from all the wire that the previous owner mangled, but at least the center of attention won't be a peeling blue valve cover, think the wrinkle black w/polished letters turned out pretty nice!!
Also in other news, the 1450cc Injectors have been installed...
@Paintballaa5 That's quite the test for a new motor haha Looked really clean when I checked it out at the marriot!@Ludachris No problem figured you guys could enjoy some of the DSM's that I shot while there!
I myself did not have my car down there, so no time slips, I may have some photos of Jeff bush's pass! however I strayed away from video at this event, covering events may sound easy but it takes away from enjoying the event, and I wanted to get the most of the TX2K experience if I make it out...
Well after many years of watching jealously of people going to TX2K, I finally got my chance this year! It was well worth the long drive and late nights, saw many cars that you'll only see maybe one or two of at most car meets and the track. The night life is just as amazing as you hear about...
I could disconnect the fans, however his wiring is very shady and at the moment it works, and I would rather not cause myself issues mid-winter. I know it needs to be fixed but things are brittle in cold and I don't have a garage to work in so the temperature is what it is... Trying to get it...
So I know the adjustment for the biss screw should be with the fans off however a previous owner wired them to always be on while the ignition is on. I know I should rewire it but winter is a pain and I'm trying to wait it out until warmer weather. My question is can I still adjust my biss...
Well after 2 months of being away at school, I finally was able to take it out again!! Also updated photos were long overdue... Still needs a lot of work, but it is 24yrs old and a 1/3000 car... Hopefully next summer I can raise enough funds for my 400whp setup goals...
Anyone know where I can purchase a 4bolt specific pinion depth tool? Not sure if the cases/pinion heights are different but if so then a 1g 4 bolt auto... Thanks in advance!
No problem man, it was nice to see a dsm/4g63 repping at SCT as my gvr4 had title issues and was unable to make it. Hope to see you at some more events I cover!
Well finally got around to detailing the gvr4, many hours later here is the result!!!(Didn't really do the bumper as I will be either buying a jdm one as they don't need a bumper support or I will be taking it off to put on the missing bumper support....) Took hours to do it as the paint...
It's a good lookin car man and made a pretty quick pass!! Here's some photos I took of you at Streetcar Takeover-Indy!!! Sadly the pass I took video of was the pass that didn't go well, figure you don't want it posted, but if you want it I can send it to you.
Yeah it's really not bad. Just been on little sleep and a lot of stress lately so wasn't thinking clearly. Now to figure out where my wiper short is...
Well I should have understood this but my heads been in another world lately... Thanks for the help guys, it's now up and running again, and it's no longer the sketchy wiring with speaker/twin small guage wire making random patches....
So I have a stm rewire kit and I know what the wires are for the relay, but I don't know what colors mean what on the fuel pump side.
STM Wires-
#30BLUE Feed wire --->battery to relay.
#87YEL 12v pump wire(Pump side) --->what color does this one go to on the car?
#86BLK 12v pump wire(Car Side)...
Well recently picked up a summit white 1992 Galant VR-4! The car is far from perfect and will need a lot of work to get it back up to being a reliable daily and reach my power goals! My intentions are to create a 400whp vr4 that I can use as my daily, I don't drive far so even as a daily it...
