My car died on the highway. Felt like fuel cut but the walbro was still whirring. I've got spark, full battery, fuel pump whizzes and fuel comes out the return line of the fuel rail. It cranks, but doesn't fire. Do you think it's the resistor pack or the ECU? How could I test the resistor pack?

I replaced the radiator cap with a new one from AutoZone and all the problems went away. May not fix your situation but for future viewers, try the cap!

If it's a grinding pop or thump it has to be a CV axle going bad. Now just determine which one it is and get a reman. axle from AutoZone for $50 - $70.

My wife has to drive my car and she hates when it boosts and acts like a rocket ship. I've got a 14b rebuilt and ported. Is there a way to turn it down to stock-like boost around maybe 8 or 9 psi?

In order to check the CV joint you really need to take it off the car or at least out of the wheel end so you can rotate it and stuff. I wouldn't think there'd be much you could really tell by inspecting it though. When my CV joint went, it would pop and scare me but only when I was turning at...

I've also had this problem. I've refilled the coolant bottle three times and it's still doing this but there is no fluids dripping down or any wet spots underneath the engine bay. The oil looks fine and normal.

Anyone have experience with the turn signal staying on? It's stuck blinking on the driver's side. I shut the car off and turned it back on, no luck. I can move the turn signal switch up and down and it makes no difference, it just keeps blinking. It's a 2G Eclipse.

I broke one of the studs off that the clutch master cylinder mounts onto. Anyone know if those are welded on to that bracket that mounts onto the firewall? I'm working on a '92 Turbo. Anyone got a pic of the bracket to post?

I called AutoZone and the FWD turbo and non-turbo passenger side axles are the same part number.

I've yet to find out what this "spacer" is but as for the write-up, it's on vfaq.com under drivetrain. One person said he bought it on Ebay but I can't find it. :cry:

There is a spacer needed for the backet if there is no A/C but I'm not sure about the spacer that goes with the transmission seal. Where can I get that spacer for the seal?

I'm trying to do this and I'm confused also. Not sure if I can use my FWD seal or just have to buy an AWD seal or have to buy the Mopar spacer and the AWD seal or have to buy the Mopar spacer kit and the AWD seal.

What are the spacers that the vfaq talks about? Is it just an AWD seal that I can buy at AutoZone?

I bought a '92 turbo that was converted from auto to manual and when I floor it one side grabs more than the other and I turn it back and then the other tire grabs more so the car wabbles back and forth unless I hold the steering wheel very tightly. Do you think the swap had anything to do with it?

Why wouldn't you shim the flywheel? There's no other way to get the fork out. It's too large to get through the hole. Check out dsmparts.com if you want to know what it looks like.
