Forced performance FP30 housing v band flange size

I have a fp30 style housing on the way, does anyone know if standard 2.5 inch v band flanges work with the fp30's 2.5 outlet or is the flange a forced performance specific size? Thanks

White deposits in exhaust port, after going lean in boost.

Took the car out for short drive and decided to get into boost. Car stumbled and loss power once full boost was reached so I let off, so about a second or less of it stumbling. Was not logging and did not have time to look over at WB. After I got home and hooked up the laptop I see that voltage...

Dual intake pump setup, same flow required?

I am going to modify my factory 1g awd fuel hanger for a dual intank pump setup, and cannot find any info about if both fuel pumps need to be the same size, flow wise. I have a walbro 255 and a jay 340 and want to use these two pumps if possible. Thanks

38MM 2 bolt Tial on 44mm v band flange manifold, need proper adapter

I would like to use my Tial 2 bolt 38mm wastegate on my jmf t3 exhaust manifold that came with a 44mm v band wastegate flange. Every 2 bolt to 44 mm wastegate adapter I can find is for mounting a 44 mm v band wastegate on a 2 bolt 38mm style wastegate flange. like this -...

    Anyone ID this exhaust manifold?

I have a manifold just like the one in this picture. It has no cracks and seemed to work well when I had it installed. Any ideas on the brand? It might be ebay, but none of the ones on ebay look like it.

Borg warner s256, oil feed restrictor or not?

I have a brand new s256 turbo i got for a great deal that I will be installing this weekend. I have a question about oil feed restrictors. The threads from search results show roughly a 50/50 split saying to restrict the feed, or just run it with no restrictor. My plan is to run it with the...

Upgrade bolt on BB 50 trim to a t3 hotside

I currently have a garret BB 50 trim on a mitsu style bolt-on turbine housing. I am thinking about upgrading to a .63 a/r t3 4 bolt outlet turbine housing using a t3/dsm adapter to keep my tubular exhaust manifold, and also adding the matching 4 bolt t3 o2 housing. Would the gains be worth it...

    My project for the weekend

My GSC S2 cams, GSC 5040 springs/retainers, eurosport valve spring compressor and jay timing belt tool kit showed up today. Also have new OEM t-belt, tensioner and pulleys. I decided on the S2 cams over the s1 so if I ever upgrade to a larger turbo my cams would not hold me back. And also I have...

    Should I port my evo 3 o2?

I was wondering if having my evo 3 o2 housing ported would be worth it. Currently with cooler weather 65 degrees ambient I flow about 47lbs hr at 28 psi on my 50 trim. I know people have made lots of power with evo 3 o2's but im pretty sure that is with a ported unit. I also have a ebay tubular...

Will any brand of cam seal be ok or should I try to find OEM? A quick google search brought up many brands. Thanks.

    Slight knock on E85

On all my E85 WOT logs I have a little knock, it happens anywhere from 4k-7k rpm. The knock reads only .4* or .7* (1 to 2 counts raw). I have always just told myself it is just engine noise/phantom knock, but now that I am pushing my setup harder I begin to wonder. So is that much knock...

ECMlink Cranked the boost up, new log!

I got brave and turned my boost up to 36 psi, boost peaks at 36.1 at 4700 rpm and falls to 32 at 6800. Peak airflow was 48.9 lbs hr. 18 degrees timing up top, AFR's were 12.4 in midrange and 11.9 past 6k rpm. Car felt strong! I will be going back to 26-27 psi to go easier on my stock 6 bolt...

ECMlink Switched to E85, log attached.

I became comfortable with ecmlink and was able to get a decent safe tune on 91 octane, no knock at 21 psi and 14* timing. Well I could not help it and filled up with e85, and started tuning for WOT after my 2nd tank full. I Still need to tweak my VE table or mess with my global, as it is about...

Can changing plug type cause richer WOT afr

The car came with BR8ES plugs installed when i bought the car, so I decided to try some BR7ES plugs since i dont think i need the 8's with my setup. I had my wideband and AFRest in link matching very close, about 1% or less wideband factor at WOT. But after changing to br7es plugs with .026 gap...

    Intake air temps (IAT)

Just wondering what average intake temps for everyone are reading on dsmlink, after all warmed up during stop and go driving, and crusing highway, or after a WOT pull. thanks for any info.

omni4bar, boostest both higher than boost gauge

in my dsmlink v3 log i show boostest and omni4bar map sensor both lined up at 19.5-20psi to redline, but my boost gauge shows 16-17. what should i look for if this is not normal? thanks

about 3 minutes of very rich 10.8 afr idle

I was calibrating my wideband to dsmlink so I had my car locked in open loop idle at 10.8 afr, for about 3 minutes. I was trying To get the min voltage I needed for calibration. Do i need to worry about any fuel in the oil from it being so rich for that amount of time? I did an oil change just...

ECMlink low speed bucking/surging, strong on boost

I just purchased this car, im new to ecmlink and have been reading over on ecmlink forums/wiki every night. the car drives very strong under boost, but during stop and go driving, mainly after moving from dead stop and after shifting at low speed the car lurches/surges very bad. ive gone through...

tuned for 93 octane, but moving to 91 only area.

running a garrett 50 trim with full supporting mods, currently tuned for 93 octane at 21 psi. will be moving and only 91 octane available at stations. e85 is available but not sure if ready to make the switch. will the car be ok for a while with just lowering boost to run 91 or would a re tune...
