Well he isnt getting fuel OR spark, so l. But tomarrow i plan on going over everything i can.Does anyone know if there is a way to "test" the CAS ? Crank sensor?
Ok. Well ill have to look into that tomarrow when i go to his house. He said if we got it running, he would trade me my oem hood for his cf hood. Its actually his gf's car. But either way i would like to help him get the car running.
No im not swapping my ecu into the car because i do not have my tune saved. And its street tuned. Im saying can i swap my cas onto his tsi with causing any problems by taking it off my car to my car
Um, im honestly not sure. Tomarrow i will be going to look at the car. Is it possible to swap mine from my car to his with out any problems caused to my dsmlink or anything on my car. ?
Well i got this friend, he girlfriend owns a 95 tsi, and apparently it just shut off one day and now doesnt start. He said there is no spark and no fuel, and had a mechanic try a new ecu and that didnt fix it. He said he has tested spark and nothing. Checked for fuel, and nothing. Im going to...
Mine was the same. When cold it pulled good. When hot kr average warm up. It was missing, sputtering. I lowered the gap on my plugs and for 2 days now its going good
I had the exact same problem, i pulled my plugs, and dropped the gap from .028 down to .020 ( im also running e85 though ) and it took my sputtering away. I will be replacing my plgs tomarrow, and then parking the car for winter sunday :(
^ thanks sir.Really was just curious. Cant wait to get this thing parked in the next couple of days and get going on the winter upgrades and then in spring retune by lilevo!
Thermal research full turbo back 3"Ok i guess i should re write this a little. It does move to 22psi that slow. It slows down at 12ish psi but keeps going FAST right to 22psi.Im sorry for the miss understanding guys.
While in a full throttle pull, boost gauge moves quickly, slows down...
Ill have to look before i to go work in a few min. I am juat curious that is al. Turbo, and manifold are coming off in a few weeks and going with hx40, differnet manifold ect and then more work getting done for spring time to get retuned
So i got this car about a month ago.
Has built bottom end 6 bolt with 7bolt head 1mm over valves. Evo3 16g. My gauge reads 22psi, i am waiting on my new ecmlink cable to come in as the first one was ripped by the seat rails. Anyways i was under the impression you cannot turn up boost with out...
Well a couple of weeks ago i went to order some parts. But I however used my common sense and loomed up reviews on companies before i decided to order from one seeing as though i am new to this forum, and the dsm community. This forums is actually where i read most negative reviews on the...
The reason most people stick to stock body is because its CLEAN, ORIGANAL, and simple. Like stated above, A:some: body kits look somewhat decent. But 98% of them are gaudy looking, added dead weight, and just plain ugly. There is nothing unique about kitting a car.::disc brakes::
I am currently running a evo 3 on 22psi on built motor. Pulls great and decent power even though im street tuned right now on link 3. Upgrading to a hx40 over winter. Im also on e85
Came on the car when i got it. Going to full coilovers over winter so these need to go.$175 firm. The rears are still on car, i will remove them when i have a buyerUnknown miles. But rode/ride good. Don't NEED to sell. I can always keep for spares or what not. So please no low...
I have also had a full shifter assem. Made by maddog, i looked on his site but he has nothing offered for dsms. The one shifter i got made by him was by far the best shifter i have EVERA HAD. had rod brake, 60-1. Had the rod extended 4" and powdercoated
Thanks guys. My plan is to order a new set of cables. I have checked the bracked, counter weight, bushings. If it ends up not being cables then i will assume ta fork is bent
Found this on a 2g tribute on youtube. Love the look of it
I. Just curious as to if someone modified it them selves to look like a evo or can you buy this somewhere
If your worried about it, when you have the pan out.l, measure from bottom where pan bolts tkcthe bottom of the pick up. Then measure the dented pan from bolt side to bottom where is dented if its in fact where the pick up is
I did quite a bit of researching beflre posting. That was the first thing i checked was the lower hose. It is not hitting. The cable ends on the trans how ever does have the brass :bushings: and all bushings under shifter look new. I will snap some pix tomaro of under shifter of where the...
Just filled up with gm syncromesh today. And what a much smoother shift! I did quite a bit of research. On my next trans ( going to have one built ) i will most likely run Redline MT-90. And try that out.
I also wanted to know if a fwd esi SHIFTER AND BASE will bolt right in. Are they the same shifter between tsi awd and esi fwd. Im not speaking of the cables just the shifter its self and base. I do not have any local awd or even fwd turbo talons or eclipses around me at junk yards. Just non...
Well my question, as stated above is what is the difference and or does any one have pictures of the a/b knuckles side by side. I am currently like mentioned above, on evo 9 wheels with 245/45/17 tires all the way around, but in the handling section somone had posted you cannot run this size on...
Yes im pretty sure we know what the 2ga and 2gb mean.....i was just reading a post on the nadling section and someone there mentioned about having to use 2gb knuckles in order to run evo9 wheels on a 95-96...
So i was just reading thru the handling thread on the main forum and someone mentioned you have to run gb knuckles on a 2ga in order to run evo 9 wheels with 245's...I am currently running evo 9 wheels with 245's. How can i tell the difference from the knuckles. I just pickedthis car up a...
Beware: i pur hased the struts and what was suppose to be eibach sportlines. They were not eibach sportlines. I made an attempt to text the OP with no response. Just throwing this out there because he choose not to text me back....instead i ended up with some crap ebay suspension....Edit...
These struts in the pic above or my tokiko's that my eibach pros are currently on?. The tokiko blues that the pros are on are currently on the car and still in very good condition
Yeah...kinda rwlaized that by now. What ever it was only $50. I will hold onto them for now. I may put them on just to see the drop on them. But will put my eibach pros back on after if i dont like them.
I bought them out of this thread from this user.....http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/milwaukee-dsm-forum/449933-ton-parts-sale.htmlHe said they were kyg's with eibach sportlines
Like the title states. Anyone know what springs these are. I bought them off a member from this board, withhim claiming they are eibach sportlines for a awd 2g. I was always under the impression sportlines were always RED. But these are PURPLE!
So i have been sear hing because i have the infamous hard shifting problem. The car is a 95 TSI AWD. I checked the bushings under shifter and on trans. Both look perfect. I bought the car a couple weeks ago. The prevvious owner said it has been like this for quite some times. He said the car...
