I'm going through my old DSM cd, I had forgotten the pin outs on the dsm key cylinder.I'm thinking this would have to work on 1Gs, early and late 2Gs as well. I may offer this as a universal kit, where it would fit any car. Nice thing about a 1g/2g is they have turbo timer harnesses out...

My Compustar requires you to press a button on the key fob to unlock the doors. This unit, you just walk up to the car and doors unlock/lock automatically.

Hopefully I can strike some deal here with DSMTuners to allow discussion on selling/pricing. Otherwise, not much I can discuss on here. I'll keep you all posted.

Thanks guys. I want to keep the stripes. The vinyl has "faded" and is turning green on some areas. I want to put on new stripes. I wouldn't mind paintingn the stripes if its doable, but I will try heat gun for removing.

I will try a heatgun and peeling the stripe at 45deg angle. Otherwise, i may end up "spray painting" wiht some clearcoat. Its a simple silver stripe anyway.

Does anyone have some tips on removing vinyl stickers from paint? My old silver stripe is fading, and I'm running out of ideas. It is very difficult to remove by peeling. Thanks.

The way I cut the roof, I left a lip there on the under-side of the sheetmetal. Using some bar metal, I made a thicker lip. The rear weatherstripping clings onto this lip. Simple. Best bet is find a supra, and duplicate what they use.
