The timing is good the belt was changed and it wa off a little but my shop fixed that.

The car does start but only like once a month and I usually have to crank it 5 or mor times. And it will run kinda crappy. I've checked asd relay and the sensors replaced ecu which helped when I put the new one in, it would start but now its back to being dumb. What else should I check?

Well the car is getting to much gas and stalling out. Just learned I think it could be the throttle position sensor? Does that sound like it could be it.

I don have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on it. The car right now is basically all stock.

I've been working on my car now for th last 4 months. My car use to crank and never start but now it won't stay on. The timing Is good, compression is good I have spark and I have fuel. I put a new ecu and that solved my no start problem but now when I start it it stays running for 30 seconds...

crank angel sensor is good, but if the crank angel sensor was bad wouldn't the not even start at all even if I sprayed starting fluid in it? I think I'm gonna get an ecu and see if that works.

ok I checked that and that is good. so i guess the only other thing would be the ecu right?

I don't know where the mpi relay is on the 420a engines. I changed the crank sensor already. there the stock injector, the timing is good just changed the timing belt and everything else so it's all lined up right. just doesn't want to fire the injectors.

I have a 95 eclipse n/t building it up for a turbo. It's at the shop right now and they can't get it to start. they said the fuel injectors will not fire. I'm trying to figure out what could cause the injectors to not fire. what controls them to fire. Any help would be great!

I own a 95 420a eclipse gs. i wanna put a new crank sensor but all i find are the newer style sensors with the flat pins. I was wondering how you might be able to wire up the connector from that sensor to the 95 wiring harness. any help would be great.

So I'm doing a turbo build on my 420a. My car is a 1995 Mitsubishi eclipse but i have a 1998 built engine now the problem i ran into is my crank sensor doesn't work would i be able to use the one off the 98 and rewire it into my harness, and how would i do that?
