i just did mine, I'll try post some pics. basically scrape off all the old glue and fabric and re-glue a new piece. Did your headliner come tan? Was the interior originally tan? Nice find!

You need to plug in the large black round connector as well, all the Infinity stereos have them.You can run an OEM Infinity Stereo with an aftermarket amp in place of the OEM infinity amp if you use the right adapters (I know, I'm doing it ^_^ )

If it idles ok when it's cold, but gets way high when it's warmed up, then your throttle cable is probably too tight. Adjust it when the car is running and warmed up.I just had this same problem with my 97 talon, same color and everything LOLthis was literally me:
