The model/serial info should be on the inside of the wheel. Just pop one off and take a pic. You never know, there might be someone out there willing to pay a premium for those exact wheels.
^^ Yeah I don't really see the value in a DSM chat server. Forums, the OG social media, are far superior because you can actually catalog and search a knowledge base. Yes, you can search Discord and Facebook, but their function is abysmal. Don't even get me started on FB marketplace...
Has anyone bought or sold a 1990 GSX in good condition in the past couple of years? I'm looking for comparables for an independent appraisal on my car.
If you don't want it posted publicly just shoot me a PM!
Let me know, thanks!

Congrats on the baby! I couldn't get any work done for like 2 years when my daughter was born Iol. Luckily she's in kindergarten now, it goes fast! That HAS to be build error or maybe a defective part. Either way it should be on your builder imo. Good luck with it
Ha, I needed that kick in the pants, thanks :D I actually did do all of that for the headliner/sunroof. It's just not on youtube yet. I'm getting 52 videos queued up so I can release 1 per week for a whole year. If I really bust my ass the next 3 months I should be able to start...
i just did mine, I'll try post some pics. basically scrape off all the old glue and fabric and re-glue a new piece. Did your headliner come tan? Was the interior originally tan? Nice find!
Yeah I’ll take some picschrisman287
do you have the black cable that runs to the OEM Infinity amp? you'll need that cable (assuming you don't want to cut up the original harness)
You need to plug in the large black round connector as well, all the Infinity stereos have them. You can run an OEM Infinity Stereo with an aftermarket amp in place of the OEM infinity amp if you use the right adapters (I know, I'm doing it ^_^ )
This noise just started a couple days ago. Does anyone recognize the noise? you can hear it best at the end of the video. I suspect maybe AC tensioner but i dunno
Man, what a bummer. Hope the builder warranties it.If I ever get an engine built, I'm making the engine builder drive the car for 1000 miles before they give it to me. : P
Not sure about Stoptech, but Rockauto has drilled and slotted rotors for the outlander

I need to find some aluminum / easy to bend piping to make some coolant hardlines, 1 1/8" ID or thereabouts (fits most coolant hoses). Where would I find something like that (I'm in the Denver area).
Thanks!
I have my 97 Talon fully insured with Hagerty, and I got this email last month. I have a few theories on why they sent the email. Just FYI, the insured amount of $15,200 was set by me.A. I had recently did emissions and registered it, so they may have gotten mileage info from the DMV (it...
Is the 10 Amp fuse (pictured) the only fuse for the power mirrors? Mine don't work, but the fuse is ok. What are the connectors below the red 10A fuse for? It looks like a connector of some sorts. How can I test the switch on the dash? I will try a replacement switch when I can find one...
To add context, I am not looking for troubleshooting help. Just as an FYI, I have:
- tried 2 different oem infinity amps and even added an aftermarket 4 channel amp - no change
- the problem existed with the original oem infinity speakers and with new replacement speakers
- the problem is...
My OEM Infinity Stereo (pictured) sounds worse as it gets louder. If the volume knob was 0-10, then volumes 0-6 progress normally, getting louder and sounding better. But volumes 7-10 barely get louder and sound quality goes way down.Has anyone else ever noticed this with their factory...
These wires go to the rectangular connector on the CD changer from a 1997 Talon. I assume they are Constant power, ACC power and Ground. Can anyone help identify them?NOTE - This pic is NOT my car, otherwise I would just hook up a multi-meter and check. Thanks!
It would be great if someone could figure out how to do it with the CD changer input.I did this on my stock 1997 Saturn SL2 a few years ago, worked great (requires soldering):
Is that the oil feed line to the turbo? If so, just replace it. Link to part:

Anyone have a pic of a 2g turbo OEM muffler cut open to show the inside? Kinda like this:If not, I'll have one soon. Just curious if anyone can save me a trip to the junkyard. Thanks!

If it idles ok when it's cold, but gets way high when it's warmed up, then your throttle cable is probably too tight. Adjust it when the car is running and warmed up.I just had this same problem with my 97 talon, same color and everything LOLthis was literally me:
**EDIT** I can't read. Just realized the thread says FIREWALL. Oh well, i'll leave this here anyway : PI made my own about 5 years ago when I replaced my cracked dash with another one. I had forgot to swap the VIN plate over so I made one. It's passed inspection multiple times, and it's...
I'm not. The last time I passed emissions in the 90GSX was in 2016. I've been driving with expired tags ever since. Not ideal though.I'm considering adding a secondary air injection pump to the exhaust to pump clean air into it (lots of cars have these from factory). My other...
Just a heads up, the HC and NOx limits are less than HALF of what they were just 10 years ago. It's going to get very difficult to pass a DSM.In 2013 the limits were:HC: 2.0
CO: 20.0
NOx: 3.5In 2021 limits were:HC: 1.2
CO: 15.0
NOx: 2.0This year (2022) limits are:HC: 0.8
CO: 15.0...
