I heard there is camping at the track, is that true? Also,is there a nitrous fill station on site or one close by? I"m going, just have to plan where to fill my baby bottle and sleep.
Antilag or 2step sucks on an auto! You will cause yourself to bog down trying to antilag/2 step launch an auto. a 75 or 100 shot of Nos is your best friend. Almost instant spool of your converter and turbo. Converter would be a good upgrade as well.
Ok in ECU inputs tab i see nothing...Go to the middle bottom, select wideband : front or rear "what ever pin you tapped "To the right of that, check lock rear o2 voltage.Go to pin assignments above that, select either front or rear
click on the connected sensor and select linear wideband.
As Double said, you will need to set it up as linear, then go to captured values, add Linear wideband, then displayed, linear wideband. You should see numbers change if your wideband is hooked to front/rear o2 and assigned properly.Post a current log.
My Talon makes this horrible noise at light throttle or when I let off it.I'm thinking it's the TQ converter, as I have to give it a good amount of throttle to get it moving from a dead stop.If I simply put it into drive and let off the brake, it doesn't always move. Sometimes it will...
You need the extra voltage to the tactrix 2.0 no matter what. You have to have it. If you notice in Ceddy's information, some of it, isn't there, or 100% correct :)
Here is a better image of some damage, this made me sad, I was like aww sob!! I might fix it, looks pretty easy, or say fuk it and wait for the next toolbag to hit me.
Man.... I press save on my 1 mile trip to work every day at least 3 times. I swear license's here where handed out in cereal boxes or something...I'm running a SSQV 4 recirculated into a Injen intake.People here like to intentionally cause issues on the road. I'm not shocked someone...
I lived right there for the past year till recently I moved to 82nd street.I lived in Barrington estates behind the speedway! My red GSX was always in it's covered bay if you went left while entering.I'm glad I no longer live there now! Right before we moved out a couple doors down...
For 1g's I believe you have to rock dsmlink, what's being talked about here is for 98/99 2g's with black box ecu's which are writable without the dsmlink chip.
That would be enough to cause fuel cut type symptoms. If this was the culprit you would be throwing a cel, back firing, popping, massive power loss and stumbling.I hate to say it man, but it really sounds like something in the transmission :(It could be a head gasket but you would see...
Yea in Carmel, think it's 96th st and Spring mill road.Dude, he also blamed me, he's like what just happened, where did you come from, how did I hit him LOLOL!I have the full video's I should share, but I told the dude to STFU, take his sorry ass back behind his car and look at the 2...
I'm here! Just moved into my new house "with 2 car garage YESSS!" so I've just been busy. Got the 95 GSX i'm working on, while I continue to daily my 98 GST.I've not seen a freaking single turbo'd DSM in town, all ricer 420's!Can't miss me, look for the blurple blur flying by on 465...
Sounds like the clutch pads are gone or the flywheel has glazed over from oil.
Could be the clutch not engaging all the way due to a failing slave cylinder or pedal out of adjustment.
1g's are notorious for their clutch pedal failing. If the clutch is slipping...
Soon to follow will be the...
The HX would be the way to go, even though the 16g is fun on a DD! The 16g would be a cheaper direct swap and more street friendly, but it's flow potential isn't as high as the HX35/40.If you don't have every supporting mod, go with the smaller turbo till you get all your supporting mods...
You can run them together.
My triple pillar is run off one power source. For the fuse..I'd rock a 10 and call it a day, if it shorts it will blow.
I would put the fuse closer to the battery for easy access.
You should have at least one wire coming in from the battery, as future mods will need a clean power source. I'd just tap into the battery.Just hooking into any wire, you could see a fluctuation in voltage.
Tapping into this wire can cause issues. It can alter the voltage readout since most turbo timers put a draw on the line. Don't hook it up, unless you want issues! Took me forever to figure out why I couldn't get my wide band AFR's right "ecuflash/evoscan user" and it was that wire tapped...
101 of driving, never dodge idiots unless it will kill you, or as you see, you pay the price!Don't swap parts, let the insurance inspector come out, do his thing, odd's are it will cost you around 500 to buy it back!Anything over 10 years old, they total out for minor damage, expect a...
You can still get the keys made from the stealership, just most wont spend the time to help out a past customer, they're more interested in new ones.Any decent locksmith will be able to build you a key without ruining your cylinder. In order to get the ignition column key switch out to...
Following, I'll be dumping my 98 GST into my 95 GSX this winter, I already knew about the plug wires/CAS... looking to see if anything else is required!

I would have done this to my GST but I wanted a GSX so I went with swapping motors route. How do the rear inner panels looks on the back?Just too much rust elsewhere to deal with, if you have OCD, you'll never unless finish unless you go with a shell swap!Props for taking this on...
Bypass the MBC and just hook the turbo directly up to the waste gate.See if that problem still happens, if it does, you know it's more then likely the waste gate.
Sighhttp://lmgtfy.com/?q=400 hp e85 E 3 16gI see countless threads.Guess learning how to and having done for you, are two different worlds.http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/456whp-evo-iii-16g.338802/OP keep reading other various threads, you will find the 16g will best fit your wants if...
That's the adapter, and the right gasket, everything will bolt in and recirc just fine!I actually just upgraded to a HKS SSQV 4 and took this setup off my car, too bad you already bought a BOV, as I'd sell you the billet flange, with the bov already gasketed/attached and Boost leak tested...
Nice setup!Have you tried taking timing away in those cells you are knocking in?
I don't use v3, "ecuflash user" so if you wanted to put your log into a excel file, I'll take a peek for ya!Stock tune is known to have knock from the factory.
Pig rich knock!Could be a bad...
OP, Get the 68 so I can come up to crown point, and show you that you should have gone the E3 16g route. :)For the $$$ Rebuilt E316g 300-400$ vs a 68HTA 1000$ you could score yourself a clutch, some injectors, fuel pump, many things you will find yourself buying, just to upgrade the turbo to...
What it boils down to is your supporting mods! If you haven't upgraded yet the 68 route of course will cost more cash and net more power, but saying a 16g produces 250 hp is not accurate information unless you are talking about bolting it on with no mods and no tune. That goal can be reached...
To get the wideband feed back you have to hook up the 5v signal on the wideband to pin 76 "rear o2 sensor" on the ecu. Or use a serial to USB cable which I say good luck, It's hit or miss getting one that works.Change your AFR's in your Fuel map to 11.0 instead of anything below 10 and you...
