I had the same problem on a HY35. MVS isn't big enough to hold 20 PSI. I think Mine ran a MIN boost of around 26PSI. Its also why all of our manifolds run 2x MVS gates as well. I've had a 1G on a 16g and bolt ons with all season tires pull 1.6 60"s as well as a galant VR4 on basically the same setup except it was on E85 instead of pump gas and meth. Both full weight.

2 step is simply a rev limiter used to hold the car at a certain RPM at the line.Anti lag will retard the ignition timing and enrich the fuel mixture to cause the turbo to spool up. You set what point you want the retard/enrichment to start at and then the 2 step to make sure it will keep...

The new Precision 6266 Gen 2 would work really well for you. Go T4 Twin scroll if you want a little quicker spool. :thumb:

I just had this problem in one of my galants. I pulled the coolant hoses off going to and from the heat core and flushed them with water each direction. Fixed the problem. Turns out the heater core was just clogged.

Very capable and well designed cast manifold. A guy here with a FP3052 and an FP manifold made 564WHP on E85. Its the manifold I would run with a stock frame turbo.

I would do a single 450 Walbro in the tank and a 255 inline. We have made 850+ on that setup on race gas. Or since you already made a twin hanger do twin 450 pumps in the tank and set the second pump to turn on at 10PSI. :thumb:

The Shop CT can handle your car for sure. They do a lot of business with us and are very capable. I would recommend taking it to them.

Do you have NLTS enabled in link? If you do and you don't have your clutch switch wire ran to the ECU and working it will do that because it will think your clutch is depressed.

I believe it is the 1g rods that need machining not the pistons. The 1g rods use 21mm wrist pins and the 2g pistons have 22mm wrist pins. :thumb:

The welds look decent. It has Velocity stacks. The Plenum design looks decent as well. I guess it all depends if you are willing to gamble on an intake manifold.

I would send them in for a clean and flow test just to verify they work and flow equal amounts. If one run leans you won't know because the O2 sensor only sees the 4 combined. Not as individuals.

It is possible you have 10.5:1 pistons in that motor and that won't run good on Pump gas. Its obviously real knock if you can put in 110 and up the timing. is E85 available to you?

I was at English Racing the other day and Aaron made a comment about sometimes with 2gs running 1g cam sensors the timing tables have to be setup really weird and low. As long as its making power and pulls good I don't think the number value in link matters.

Check to make sure the harmonic balancer outside ring hasn't slipped. What cam sensor are you running and is this a 6 bolt or 7 bolt? What is your base timing set to?

If you are unsure of the person you are trusting with your car. Why risk it? I would suggest a reputable shop. English Racing is right in town and they can handle anything you need. Just my advice. I have seen them post ads on craigslist but I don't have any first hand experience with them.

Just judging based off a few pictures I have seen the placement of the intercooler is similar. I think with the flexability in the couplers it just might work.

You can tune it. You are going to want a wideband A/F setup such as the Innovate MTX-L. Do you have a better fuel pump or injectors? If you get those then you can start increasing boost and take advantage of all that ECMLink has to offer.Watch these as well. They help A LOT.

:hmm: could be a lot of things. Diagnosing it over the internet with that description is like you trying to guess what color i'm thinking of. I would try to take it to a local mechanic and see what they find. Could be anything from suspension to a motor mount.

I would gap those plugs down. shoot for .020. High boost applications run down to .018
