Had the same thing going on with my 2g, there called door check, it has 2 positions tat it locks in place, most likely there cracked and needs replaced. Kinda hard to find tho, mine made a really loud pop when opening it every 45 degrees, found the door checks on eBay. Hope this helps
Just bought an act streetlight flywheel. I got it in the mail today and when I opened it , it was cracked on the side of the flywheel, not the face. My question is would it be ok to install it? Please refer to the pic. thanks

Yes you are right. you do need the awd fuel sending unit harness/connector to splice into the fwd harnnes. I snaged mine out of my donor before i hauld it off to the junkyard

Will do, I cant imagen that the 15 ft line by 1/4 holds 1 qt of fluid so maby the pump did turn on...or it just syphoned alot by cursive gravity. I have it set to come on at 10psi slowly ramping up to full bore by 22 psi
Well, I think There not damaged. How I checked them was to put 1 and 4 at TDC, both of them aligned with the top of the block and 2 and 3 are also stright with the block at TDC so I ASS.U.ME there ok. Any othere ways to tell if there bent besides pulling a pan?

The highest octane we have here in AZ safford in fact, is 91. 30 psi on my holset dnt like plan 91 so boost juice is a must. I have the head off. The bottem end looks ok. However the head dont look very healthy. Ill look up on syphoning on google. Never heard of that term.

Heres the log of the 3rd gear pull, AFR was not loging. Had an external wideband hooked on the tail pipe. AFR was around 11.5 to 11.9. To see log go to data, filter, tps over 80
Timing was 5-6 degrees peak toque dropping to 12-13 degrees at redline. AFR were around 11.8 to 12.0 (using 50/50 meth injection) no knock :) Pump type was 91 octane. Using the 7 blade wheel. At 32xx lbs, my best trap speed was 112mph at tucson AZ Import face off. Any more info needed just ask...

Mech timing is at 5 degrees. How dose compression ratio affect hp as in 7.8 to 1 compared to a 9.0 to 1? Maybe thats why my setup is low as I am on stock pistons still.

Didnt want to make a new thread on the same topic. Just got the car tuned last weekend. setup was a hx35 twin scroll housing/ts manifold, meth injection at 25 psi...ONLY MADE 348HP 373LBS??? Thats evo 3 turbo status??? No boost leaks or exhaust leaks. Any ideas...its the 7 blade too.
In order to find the leak and stop guessing your gonna have to take off the timing cover and put dye in it. Like what colt4g63 said. Might take a little bit of effort but it beats having a puddle on the floor :) let us know
It looks like it was ran with pure tap water, I wouldn't flash it because it would break up all the rust causing something to leak like you said. However i would run a water hose though it (NOT A CLEANER) just in case there's a big chunk. Then use antifreeze and water wetter.
I highly recommend the NRG blow off valve, almost like a greddy type s but improved. and for a lot lower price! Iv been running mine for over a year at 28 psi on a holset. Iv done plenty of boost leak test and i never get one coming from my bov.
