Drag radials hook good too. The reason I use them is mainly that they don't run out as fast also driving on slick on the street can get wobbly from time to time.
An update my magna fuel 750 pump showed up now waiting on a surge tank and a bunch of fitting and a 255 in line for the nitrous to have its own stand alone fuel source.
Well I have had the idea rolling around in my head for a while so this build thread is long over due. When this build started I had a 90 panda TSI. Then a very nice blue GSX That was already auto came into play. But to make a long story short I started collecting parts winter of 2013 and spring...
I was about to make a thread asking about this I'm glad I looked 1st. I see a lot info back asking me forth copper vs stainless. What's the better of the 2? I would assume ss wire but since it does not crush down won't that hurt the head?
Okay that's what I was expecting the car will be on aem and I just though maybe there was something different you guys where doing. The engine will see about 50 psi at full tilt so just did not know what you guys where using but that helps.
So my question is simple and I'm sure someone has the answers. Well I'm in the middle of getting my car swapped over to an automatic and the car is a 11 to 1 compression engine with a 6766 what type of boost controllers are you high powered automatic cars using?
Do you know how long i have been looking for this? About a month how the hell did i not think to look in here lol.One question though, what pins from the obd2 connector do i hook up in the harness and where does the reflash cable hook up too? Or does it matter as long as the wires are in the...
Im doing a similar thing but im using a 99 ecu from a gst i cant for the life of me find the proper information on how to make the patch harness any help would be appreciated and im sorry if im thread jacking that is not my intensions i just did not want to make another thread when this falls...
I know. But it's hard for me to justify pulling an entire short block out just for a decking you know then have to buy everything again. If I do that I might as well just rebuild. Then the car won't be a stock short block car you know what I mean?
Okay I'm not new to this by any means but I'm a little confused right now. I'm in the middle of a head swap in my car the longest by far lol. But I have a mls head gasket but I really don't feel like pulling the block out of the car for a decking at this point my question is how many have just...
I'm not sure how to multi quote on here. But they are -6 bulk head fittings. I don't have a build thread but the fuel pumps will be used for a 14b e-85 nitrous car. I will be looking for the awd 14b record with and with out nitrous. The car will be a 156,000 mile short block with a new head...
Find me a dyno graph and lets see when the tourqe comes on? I assure it's after 4500 rpm's given the turbo. I never said they can not hold it I said its a matter of time before they break. I my self have faith in the stock block that's why I'm chasing a few records for myself.
7 bolt or 6 bolt I don't care 450 ft pounds of tourqe is alot for stock rods and rod bolts. A bigger turbo will change that tourqe band and let you make more and more but it is still a ticking time bomb.
Yes thats a good thing. Now check fuel pressure to see what it is doing. Like it was said before the spider injection system needs at least 55 psi to fire the injectors. If you have that then I would leave the tester hooked up and wacth how much the pressure drops with in 10 minutes to an hour.
I think you mean the lq9 a aluminum block 6.0. I would check for spark like he said. Also they have coil per cylinder if it is a ls based engine if not then its still the old vortec with the spider injector system then I would start looking at fuel pressure to make sure an injector is not...
Yeah I was reading into that it seems like more of a head ache than its worth if you ask me. I'm thinking he should sell it and buy ECM link for his needs would you agree?
So I'm installing a Maft pro on a friends car and well Im wondering the max injector size it can compensate for? Would a safe guess be 60% over factory?
You can never have to much fuel. A question for you is how much are power are you going to make and what fuel do you plan on using? But I really think you have plenty of fuel with set up listed above.
