I have to replace the whole linkage including the parts inside the tranny

So I'm putting a different tranny in my car but I have to replace the shifter lever. How do I pull out some of the insides to replace it. Anyone have a manual that they know of online with a breakdown?

I fixed the problem. Went and got the car checked on the cels and it said I had a faulty ignition coil, injector, camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor. So I unplugged the ecu. And battery, switched the 4 and 2 spark plug wires. Unplugged the #4 injectors since that's what one was specified and...

That's what makes no sense. It idles fine just boggs when I drive it. The injectors are stock with like 192xxx miles.

OK my eclipse it says is a gsx. But actually its an rs. So I don't have a Turbo. They didn't have n rs selection.

I do have a Cel. I was told it had to do with my gas cap or my catalytic converter or a vacuum line but I checked all my lines and even put clamps on them to make sure they are not leaking. What's a blt? Sorry I'm new to the dsm world.

What makes no sense is I unplugged each injector one by one and they all are working right. My coil, plugs and wires are all sparking how they should be but I can't still figure out Why its chugging like it had been.

So I found a rebuilt kits for my 420a. 336$. NEW PISTONS, gaskets,water pump, oil pump, bearings, and piston rings and timing belt. Good deal? They offer oversized rings by. 50mm and oversized bearings by either. 25mm or. 50mm. Should I get the oversized or not?

I have noticed recently my cars been lagging plus I'm getting terrible mileage.. what is the easiest way I can find out if my injectors are bad?

OK. T kinda just feel like it wants to die. And yes I lose power. I noticed it happens the worst in 2nd and 3rd gear.

It does it at all rpms. I'm wondering if its the tranny slipping cause the engine is in good shape. Also it is worse at some timesThe engines not misfiring. I checked from the plugs to the coil each individually

Well around here its not like that so I'm just gonna take my chances on that 100$ I could get a steal on it. You never knowHey if it last me a month or two I will be happy. That's all I need to get the new trans built.

When I was driving yesterday I noticed my car was bogging out and dropping about 400 rpms. Than picks back up. Any ideads.

Alright alright. Misspelled that there. But hey. For 100$ I can get a tranny that works with no problem. Mean while I'm going to take the one in my car and rebuild it into a racing trans.

Well I came to the conclusion that I am just gonna pick up a granny from the junkyard for 100$ and just replace what's broke.

Yes. And the worse part is it did happen in gear today. Second gear to be exact.

I checked the flywheel already and its good. The noise seems to be coming from around the cv axle input on the driver side but my cv axle still moves

Im trying to find a websit that sells good rebuild kits for a 420a and the stock mqnual tranny. Hoping to find a rebuld kit with new pistons included possibly. Anything out there like that?

I have a 95 eclipse rs manual and when I rev the engine theres no grinding. it happens when the rpms decrease. :mad:It only happens when its in nuetral it dont happen in gear either. Any bright ideas?
