So I'm putting a different tranny in my car but I have to replace the shifter lever. How do I pull out some of the insides to replace it. Anyone have a manual that they know of online with a breakdown?
I fixed the problem. Went and got the car checked on the cels and it said I had a faulty ignition coil, injector, camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor. So I unplugged the ecu. And battery, switched the 4 and 2 spark plug wires. Unplugged the #4 injectors since that's what one was specified and...
I do have a Cel. I was told it had to do with my gas cap or my catalytic converter or a vacuum line but I checked all my lines and even put clamps on them to make sure they are not leaking. What's a blt? Sorry I'm new to the dsm world.
What makes no sense is I unplugged each injector one by one and they all are working right. My coil, plugs and wires are all sparking how they should be but I can't still figure out Why its chugging like it had been.
So I found a rebuilt kits for my 420a. 336$. NEW PISTONS, gaskets,water pump, oil pump, bearings, and piston rings and timing belt. Good deal? They offer oversized rings by. 50mm and oversized bearings by either. 25mm or. 50mm. Should I get the oversized or not?
It does it at all rpms. I'm wondering if its the tranny slipping cause the engine is in good shape. Also it is worse at some timesThe engines not misfiring. I checked from the plugs to the coil each individually

Im trying to find a websit that sells good rebuild kits for a 420a and the stock mqnual tranny. Hoping to find a rebuld kit with new pistons included possibly. Anything out there like that?
I have a 95 eclipse rs manual and when I rev the engine theres no grinding. it happens when the rpms decrease. :mad:It only happens when its in nuetral it dont happen in gear either. Any bright ideas?
