  4. Backfiring

    backfiring is not a bad thing, but it's not a good thing either. Back firing is caused by unburned fuel being ignited in your exhaust. It doesn't do any serious damage to the engine, it just means that your engine is getting too much fuel. What other mods have you done to the car?

    try twisting the section between the two cam gears. if the belt twists more than a 1/4 turn, get it replaced ASAP. also check the tensioner to see if it sticks. if it does spray a little pb blaster on it to unstick it

    Sounds like it's running rich. When's the last time you changed the plugs and wires? Also you might need to clean the filter and reoil it.

    Are all your clutch lines tight? Try pumping the clutch a few times and then try to get it into reverse. If that works, then you probably have a loose line somewhere. If that doesn't work then I would do what ivanr4G63 said.

    Sounds like you might need new axles. If the axles are bad it might be a good idea if you change the wheel bearings too. Just to be safe.

    check all your clutch fluid lines. One might be loose and leaking.

    Yoou might want to check the wiring that goes to the door lock for any exposed wires. Those wires could be touching and blowing your fuse.

    I agree with defiant. Next time you change the oil, put in 4 quarts, run the engine until the oiling system comes up to pressure(oil light should turn off), and then top it off.

    There's not really any other way to check the oil, but it doesn't seem that hard to read if you ask me. Just drain some oil out until you get the right level. Actually, it looks like you're due for an oil change anyway. Just change it.
