Ah i see, all i was saying is there are several brands, oem and not oem ones. Most do the same job, but i guess it comes down to preference. Some vendors, may sell the same belt for a different price.
Ive seen threads on this, many have choices, ive used oem and others for 15 years on several dsms, never an issue, and ive put thousands of miles on my cars.
Sounds like a radiator problem, with coolant issues, its rust colored, doesnt sound good, we drained the coolant from my friends 911 turbo, it was bad turned out to be a radiator issue. Do a compression test, also.
Sounds like a mess, from indy, im a hoosier, but onto the topics, check wiring in doors, and under dash, all fuses, could be a number of things, maybe a realy is bad,i wired my tsi before, everything check all fuses, and get back with us.
Oem or felpro, arps good to go, to me metal means problems, arps felpro over 400hp in my tsi, and previous builds, sd great to have once you learn to tune it. Just got all my sd stuff ordered, ready to go.
I would look on line for the part you need, check vendors, im sure there is a thread on testing the part you need. Vendors like, jnz, extreme psi, may have the part numbers and prices for your iac. Classifieds, and ebay, also.
Ok well tune your car for your goals if not leave it as is, kinda up to you, never heard of a limit when tuning your car, or i can push it just a bit more before something breaks! I dont see you getting the answer your looking for.
