Google, EbayGT Fabrications is your best bet.Not much demand for it though. The 1g hatch is pretty light in and of it self. Its the glass that weighs a ton.
Well true, but I've yet to come across someone with more than 1 stuck injector. And I was thinking the OP had taken the SAFC off.And yeah, get the right plugs and gap them, that will help tons.
Dielectric grease is a bad idea...Just use a rubber band or some duct tape to to hold it on until you can find one.Dielectric grease is meant for stuff like spark plug boots that need to be lubbed some what, and will eventually be replaced, and have a much stronger spark.
The information is all there, Assuming a good MAF, a good Fuel Pressure Regulator, and Normal Sized injectors, its either in your Front o2, or Coolant temp sensor.
A lot of you people are talking about drag racing where as the the OP is talking about street course / autox.Yes you can setup a FWD for street/autox. Yes you can do well. Its more of a skill > power thing with that. Yes you want to run every mod you can for your class, but most of that is...
Because the engines are backwards to each other. One was designed by an american motors company, another by a japanese motors company. Who can really say why the locate the tranmission on opposite ends of the engine bay.Your going need basically a whole car. Engine, trans, axles, engine...
Atlanta is a big freaking place. But let me just hit your craigslist and I bet I find at least one gsx. You wait a few months and you will see several come up for sale in atlanta and the surrounding areas.LMFAO... It is seriously not anywhere near that hard. Yes you need to weld in brackets...
Lambos dont even use them anymore unless its required to make it fit in a small european parking space, and still be able to get in and out of the car.Yes, the only reason lambo doors exist is so that you can get in and out of the car. Period. That is the only reason. They were never intended...
Bot really, it looks like a teg. The 5th gen was better looking. The 1st gen liftback was the best looking. Imo its 1st gen > 3rd gen > 5th gen > 7th gen > 4th gen > 2nd gen. The 2nd generation celica was just fugly. 4th gen wasn't too hot either. And the 3rd gen LBs are the only good ones. The...
Your comparing apples and hand grenades here. The 13b is a twin rotor wankel. Yes you can get over 200 at the wheels from a 13b based renesis. But its also a cheater, and there is no definitive way to measure the displacement. Some measure it from 1 rotor face x the number of rotors. Some say...
There was a 1g eeprom on ebay with a starting bid of .99 last week. You can usually find them for under 100$ shipped if your patient.Or just got look in every 1g you can find a junkyard, you never know. I got my ecu for 22$ plus tax.
Upgrade those 205s to a good 225-245 depending on how wide your rims are. If your at least 7.5 you could easily run a 245. Wider tires are more important than nearly anything else. Then you want to go with a solid suspension setup.
You can always modify the gauge cluster in the dash to hold aftermarket gauges if your going to be running more than the standard wbo2 + boost + whatever else you want on a triple pillar.
Unless you have an expieranced hand rolocs are a terrible idea. Using a long board is the best quick way.If your patient, the best slow way is a plastic scrapper, and a few razor blades, as well as some shop towels and some kind of non residue forming solvent. Cheaper brake cleaner will leave...
Putting the xbox under the seat is a retarded idea as well. You ever wonder why those things get that "red ring of death" its because idiots put them on carpet, or stick them in poorly ventilated entertainment centers. They make a lot of heat, and it overloads the cooling capacity of the xbox...
The reason no one else has a 202.5hp/liter engine out from the factory is that you have to service the FQ400 every time you get out of the driver's seat. I think the recommended dealership service interval on it is like 8,000 miles.Considering most people either don't take their car to...
Does anyone make a full on replacement or insert for the 2g rollstops (front/back mounts). I can't seem to find one, and don't want to waste money on a stock rubber one that will fail.Car allready has the stupid little prothane "helpers" that don't do shit, but the front one is torn pretty...
Yes, you need to remove all the belts, and possibly the water pump pulley. Remove the driver's side engine mount, support the engine with a jack and a block of wood. Then remove all the bolts from the t-belt cover. You need to remove the studs from the engine mount point on the side of the block.
You can generally do a title bond, and then file for an abandoned vehicle title. In alabama it takes several weeks to file for an abandoned vehicle title as you have to send a notice to the address of the last registered owner via certified mail. Then wait a month. Then you can sell it...
Why the hell would you run 2 piggy backs?Just get a MAF-T pro....http://www.maftpro.com/Actually why the hell waste money on 2 piggy backs, or that, just pay 25$ more and get dsm link.
Switch the coil with a different coil, switch the ignitor with a known good one, try flipping the cas. Make sure your firing order is correct. It sounds like you may have timed one cam 180* out, or the cas is timed 180* out.Have you actually checked spark by arcing the wires with a screw driver?
The bolts going into the oil pan should have copper crush washers on them, if you don't then it will leak.If you can't get the crush washers (I've allways had a hard time finding ones small enough) you can break the the end off a copper electrical lug (ring terminal) and use that, or use...
You can actually change the auto shift knobs. I've seen a fair few auto shift knobs. Just not as common or easy to install as manual ones. But anyways, dsm autos are pretty beastly. I would love to track down an auto awd.
Dawn dish soap is a wax and grease remover. It works wonderful. I use it quite often before painting. Its probably the best liquid soap you can buy, and it works wonders. Ever wonder why your hands are dry after you use it? Because it removes the oils from your skin.Though I think they do...
Neither one of them is worth the asking price really. They are poorly or incompletely modified. I would try and get him down to 4-4200 on the 2g if its running good. Or around 3 on the 1g.Either way you go your probably looking at another thousand to get a real tunning device and fix all the...
Thanks steve, That will give me several places to look when I get back to the house tomorrow. There is signal getting to pin 86 for the ecu, and the car does not have cruise. So that narrows it down a bit, but I will keep looking.
If your blowing coolant on high boost your best bet would to be conduct a compression, and then leak down test, and post the results. It seems that compression is leaking through the headgasket into the cooling system.
No clue, but there is no voltage of any sort at the cluster connector.I consulted this diagram, and there is no voltage what so ever getting to pin 36 on c-05. Is that still to hard to understand? The sensor is outputting something, it just isn't getting to the speedo. The circuit is broken...
Its a 95 or 96. Yes, the VSS has been replaced with a brand new unit. The gauge is not getting signal. When its spun with a drill it does output a waveform. And as far as I can tell with a basic multimeter there is signal going to the ecu, but nothing at the connector behind the gauge cluster...
We've replaced the VSS with a new one, and swapped the gauge cluster with a known working one. So it leads me to believe that there is a broken wire somewhere. He has a tucked harness so I am working on unsheating it and tracing all the entire circuit. It was under my impression that the VSS...
