Damn something similar happened to me, the lock rod broke off the slot on the passenger side for me after I discovered the car had a keyless entry thats the what use to unlock the passenger door(13years ago when got the car)...eventually ill replace it but I'm fine living it

Other it snapped 1 of the hinges and hanging on to the cup with the other...or the clip that holds the rod to lever the door handle to open broke...regardless you need to open it up to see exactly what happen...these are 2g worst enemy and there's a group buy to for full aluminum door...

Try to check the power transistor, its a small black module between the fuel injectors and VC its kinda hard to see as it goes in and only can see the plug on a small bracket on the intake manifold. My Spyder did this and I loaded up on power transistors spear parts.. like 6x of them:D

Its was a autozone duralast part, I'm surprised it lasted almost 5 years as I couldn't find a Aisin CSC, I replaced it when my MCS started leaking on the peddle side and did a braided SS line shortly after

I forgot to mention I did have to reverse the polarity, I just toke small precision flat head screw driver to remove the wires from the harness and drilling a small hole to vent is a good idea
