Your logic is very flawed. Safe for pvc so it's safe for metal??? No. Lye eats aluminum. Doesn't mean people don't use it. Leave it on long enough lye does damage aluminum. Your exhaust manifold is cast iron. You can use it but oven cleaner would be easier. It's Also lye and you can spray it on.
Fmic is one of those things that larger has few downsides. The issues will be packaging and whether or not that affects engine cooling. Cost. And whatever compromises come with running an fmic. I chose an ets street unit as I didn't want to cut my crashbar.A fuel pump is similar to fmic...
I don't have my books handy. Some other post are suggesting I'm wrong and said p1105 is fuel pressure solenoid as you suggested.
Anybody else wanna chime in?Thing is FPR shouldn't really cause any major symptoms except maybe a mild start problem but nothing once it's running.
Better to send it and have it repaired. Ecmtuning.com
Alternatively if you're going to replace and want some flexibility there are other options. We need to know your plans with the car. Are you trying to modify or are you here just looking for repair info? We've seen it all.
You are more than welcome to this forum but this one is focused on the 90-99 cars and mostly the 4g63 turbo cars.

There are some similarities between the 3g motor and the 4g63 but they are few.
Adding more power isn't easy or cheap.
P1105 is not a fuel pressure solenoid. It's a map sensor.
Dont just go replacing parts. I'd check for a leak first. Boost leak check the car and possibly do a vacuum check. Possible a simple vac leak.
Internet has failed me. RIMAC is apparently well known for certain thing but I can't find squat about their hand tools. Apparently they are THE company for valve spring testers. Like HUGE and they recently started making some manual valve spring tester they used to make back in the 50s and 60s.
Considering the amount of money mitsu shelled out for the early 1g timing belt failures and recall I'm sure they wanted to make sure to minimize losses. I had a 1 owner 90 and I was subjected to the timing belt recall. I got my belt replaced for free at 60k. The recall did not include the...
Problem is you won't know if it's 91 92 or 93 up. Unless you want to swap lots of stuff. It's a crap shoot without a vin.And you still didn't say what those numbers are supposed to be.
What are these specs you're posting? If it's supposed to be a comparison one of those is a w5m31. Not the same unit.
As old as these things are almost any w5m33 is worth owning if it isn't worn out. Need more info.
Do you have specific questions? Like will it fit?
If it truly is an NPXV that's...
I've got a 20 ton press (not Harbor freight). I've gotten by with just one bearing splitter for years. I do have a smaller cheap ass one but the only thing I do with it is remove stuck on 5th gears on the intermediate shaft. I'll have to take some measurements of what I have. I can probably...
Still kind of vague. Are yiu dating it hits a certain boost and stays there and then as rpms rise boost starts to go up? If that description is accurate it's a condition called boost creep.
If you have a full turbo back 3" exhaust and a stock internal wastegate that's a problem. What do you...
Just take a tensioner and see how far the hydraulic piece sticks out. The arm should be flat so if you can put the pin in the grenade, the gap is exactly how far the piece sticks out. It's probably wrong but I've done it this way for 20 years.
If you're saying you already have machined 1g rods then can't you just buy any OEM equivalent pistons? NPR etc?I didn't call a dealer but online sites say discontinued for OEM.
If you don't want to change all that other stuff then you want 93 or newer. Any year will work including 97 to 99. What's different about those is the front diff.
Intermediate shafts are the same from 92 up. Are yiu trying to make major changes? 92 3/4 gears hub sleeve and shift fork are all different. What are you trying to do?
Just noticed you're new. Welcome to the site. There is decades worth of archived research on here and very good resources.

The cars are old now and lots of parts are discontinued. Search around and most every topic you can think of has been covered. The ones who have been around awhile...
Super longshot but I've booked a cruise for spring break out of Galveston. My itinerary changed and now I need to book another hotel or air bnb but we're so close now stuff is booked up. Anybody in the hotel or bnb industry have an inside line on availability?
I can't find the information. I want to say if you don't have ECMlink you will always get those misfire codes because you can't invert the cas signal. I also want to say you can't run a 2ga cas on your 98 head because there aren't mount provisions for it. So even if you had it, wouldn't matter.
