  1. Remove crank shaft pulley bolt

Safest way is a 1/2" drive impact gun. The drive fits directly in there.
  2. 1G Do I have a ball bearing FP green?

Not angled on the vertical plane, it's actually the bolt holes for the flange are rotated. They used evo x housings for the bb bolt on turbos. Like this.
  3. 1G Do I have a ball bearing FP green?

Look at the oil return flange. If it's angled it's bb. If it's straight it's not. I have a bb black.
  4. FP Black JB no water

Someone asked Michael from FP in one of the threads when the blacks were first coming out. He basically said your ok to run without water lines for drag racing but they're needed for autocross or anything like that and to watch for coking on the turbine side.
  5. 1G Map sensor vacuum options

Take the manifold off and drill a hole through the mounting bracket bolt hole on the underside. Thread a barb in there or retap it and thread map sensor there.
  6. Getting into boost and sputters/back fires

Check your plugs and wires. Make sure the plugs are ngk
  7. Is this from the motor?

BISS screw. Goes in top of the throttle body
  8. Question regarding dead time calculation.

Yes. Mine is set at -75 I believe.
  9. on a quest for 350

Look at my mod list. It's up to date. I put down 352 hp on a mustang dyno at 21 psi,93 octane.
  10. Still can't get clutch adjusted properly

Ya pretty much just lay under there and watch while someone presses the clutch pedal in
  11. Still can't get clutch adjusted properly

Check to make sure that the trans isn't pushing away from the block where the helicoil is messed up. I have seen that be a problem before.
  12. Really bad sputtering in throttle

Could be a spark issue too. Check your plugs and wires
  13. What's that thing above the alternator?

If it's leaking fluid make sure u have fluid in the reservoir
  14. What's that thing above the alternator?

    Power steering pump
  15. Fp manifold flange works with td05 flange?

Yep it's a bolt on manifold
  16. VRSF 1G FMIC dimensions

Mine is 28" inside to inside on the inlet and outlet pipes
  17. Leaning out passed 5000 rpm

Fuel pressure should rise as you get into boost on a 1:1 ratio. Get a gauge to check that the regulator is raising fuel pressure
  18. awd transmission install?

The easiest way I've found is this. Take off the north-south bar on the passenger side. The one that goes from the radiator support to below the firewall. Then tighten up a scissor jack between the firewall and back of the engine to push the engine forward little bit. Then u can lift the tranny...
  19. 1G Setting Timing

Adjust your CAS so the timing mark on the crank pulley lines up with 5* mark on the timing tab on the timing belt cover when u put the light on it.
  20. New to tuning I have some questions.

First thing u need is knowledge. Pick up a couple of books written by a guy named Greg Banish called Engine Management-Advanced Tuning and Designing and Tuning High Performance Fuel Injection Systems. Tons of useful information in them
  21. FP76HTA questions

The 76 hta or green xl as they call it now is a bolt on turbo so yes the stock O2 housing will work. The dsm 76 is what has the v band O2 housing
  22. another built 6 bolt that is slow!!! help!!!

Jackal is for the 1g cars only
  23. random stutter / cel that goes on and off

Had the same thing happen to me few years ago. It was a bad O2 sensor
  24. Is there a wiring diagram available that illustrates how to connect the map sensor?

There's a how to on DS-MAP under installation that tells u how to wire it through the MAF harness.
  25. Can you use a GM map sensor and GM intake air temperature sensor with ECM LINK v.3

Yes if your planning on running speed density
  26. Kind of unbelievable

The 1G MAF does have the IAT incorporated in it too
  27. Overcharged?

That's really not a bad price to remove rebuild and replace.
  28. Who has OEM florr matts?

I had a 92 Laser with porno red interior in it. The car got totaled so I stripped it. I believe I have the floor mats still but they're buried in my friends storage garage. Not sure though it's been years since I've seen them.
  29. newb worried about taking timing belt off

Glad to hear it turned out good.
  30. Gsx or gst 2g

GSX and you'll never have to worry about traction at that hp level
  31. newb worried about taking timing belt off

Take the belt off. The water pump is a pain to replace and will be worse with a belt stuck in the way. Replace what u need to, make sure everything is lined up when u put the belt back on and you'll be fine.
  32. Dyno Results for the Talon

I was looking into both myself and was leaning toward the 52 for the same reason.
  33. Dyno Results for the Talon

Haha. Ya u gotta be fair and at least give them v8s a chance. 4k isn't too bad of lag time. I was thinking of going with that turbo in the near future
  34. Dyno Results for the Talon

Nice. What rpm are you hitting full boost at with the 3052?
  35. How much shuld i pay for a GSX/GST

Ya 5 grand should get u something really nice
  36. Slow Start & Rough Idle. No Clue!?

I'm having the same issue with my car. I'm gonna try replacing the coil packs. Thanks in advance if it's my problem too. It'll save me alot of headaches and hair pulling.
  37. Spyder Mulitple Problems with my Spyder

That's the only obvious thing I see on the pictures.
  38. Spyder Mulitple Problems with my Spyder

Try hooking the blow off valve up to recirculate
  39. studdering/yanking

U sure the timing belt was put on right
  40. High Rise Spoiler...

Dsm graveyard is in Michigan. Did u try them
  41. Changing plugs to fix my problem?

If your not running ngk plugs u should switch to them anyways. Seems like they're the only plugs these cars run right on
  42. New to the forums first question?

I say find one as close to stock as possible
  43. FMIC Piping needed

If its a big core like u said you'll probably notice some lag
  44. Buy or not?

Ya sounds like a good deal
  45. okay to not use thermostat

I would put it in. Your engine needs to get up to that normal operating temp and it's hard to do that without the tstat
  46. The buddies and i have a new idea

Good luck. It would be awesome if u get it to work
  47. What can I remove?

STM sells the non cruise throttle cable
  48. Belt Squeaking Loud very annoying

Make sure the belt is tight enough for starters
  49. boost wont hold

U might wanna invest in a real mbc. Better to spend a little money now than run the risk of popping the motor and have to spend alot more.
