Sounds like a boost leak, check all of ## couplers and clamps from the turbo to your throttle body and make sure they are all on good and tight, and if you can make a boost leak tester and test it for all small leaks as well.
Ok so i learned something, do a compression check before i start checking everything else, ends up i had 8 bent exhaust valves, but i still dont understand how it ran for 50 miles and just dies and cannot be started, but anyway thanks for the help guys!:thumb:

Hey guys i have a 7 bolt 4g63 n/a that spun a rod bearing and beat up the rod and the cap, i also have a few 7 bolt rods from a 4g63 that was factory turboed, could i change out the piston and use the turboed rod on the n/a engine? Thanks.
Hello guys, I have a 225 walbro but want the 255, my buddy has a 91 tsi awd with the 255 walbro, and I have a 98 gsx, my question is will I be able to take mine off and just bolt on the 255? and same goes to the tsi. Do 1st gens and 2nd gens have different fuel pump bolt on patterns or anything...
Shoot, same problem here. I get spark, fuel to the rail and injectors 1 and 2, but not 3 and 4. Anyone that knows what the problem is please help us out thanks.
Any help is appreciated, I bought a 98 gst with rod knock, it has been sitting for over a year. Changed out everything that I needed, also converted the cas to a 2ga style, couldn't find a 2gb cas, started it, ran for about 50 miles, exhaust got glowing hot from light driving, don't know why...

Ok so its not the FI relay, switched them both out, and no improvement.. About the ecu, i believe the one in my gsx, manual transmission has a flashed ecu, bigger injectors and more boost, is it going to mess up the ecu if its put in the stock gst, auto transmission? Thanks
Took out the coil pack, and the power unit thing right next to the coil pack, put them both on the running dsm, and it still runs, so its not that, i will try swapping out the FI relay right now, not sure what it is but will google it :)Is this what the FI relay is supposed to look like on a...

No fuel on cylinder 3 and 4, I took out the fuel rail a few times, clean like it should be, its not that. And Lofty, I googled what a resistor pack is, and tomorrow I will try changing it out with my other dsm, don't know how to check it, so I will just change it and post the results. Thanks

Do you think its safe to put a flashed ecu, of the same year dsm, just my gsx has bigger injectors, and im pushing over stock boost, I don't want to mess it up if I put the ecu in the gst, btw gsx is my running dsm, gst is the one I am having fuel problems with.
Also, I had the spark plugs hooked up to the wires, has someone turn the key, and they were all giving out spark, by this I understand the cas is giving info to the coil pack to give out spark right? Wich makes me think the cas is working properly.

Ok so i believe my cas has nothing to do with this because i took out the spark plugs, hooked them up in the wires, had it touching the valve cover, hod someone turn the key, and all 4 sparks were sparking, so i have spark, and the cas is giving out the right timing, haven't checked the ecu yet...

turns out i had a alarm system on there that wasnt allowing it to start once the battery gets disconnected, after i reset the alarm module it can start up again. :thumb:
