yeah i just had the exact same problem fixed, i had lost all my oil and started hearing a loud whinning sound, when reving the car. it didnt make the sound at idle tho. Its your connecting rod bearings man. i can gaurantee it.

this may sound stupid but check the <b>front bulb</b> that is flashing fast, one of the two filiments might be burned out, that happened on my old ford probe, and a new bulb fixed the problem, if that doesnt work, u prob have to fix a relay.
