the reason why you would have to cut that elbow is that you probably would not have enough pipe left to put a coupler on there, you might be able to get away with whats left but it might slide off under boost.....ill post some pics of my turbo. I bought slowboyracings SBRGT10 with a 90deg...

what year is this car? i would try checking that your timing belt hasnt skipped any teeth....(alight the timing marks on the crank and the camgears)

um....have you looked below the headlight.... if you were to remove the ..uh..plastic shroud thats infront of the intercooler...look there under the headlight...see if you find the one you are looking for

um..its actually an easy fix. try this, next time your idle goes up that high pop the hood and manually close the throttle (it may seem that its closed) and if that fixes it do the following. There are two bolts holding the bracket to the tcable (bracket that if you follow the tcable its bolted...

hehe..no her rear brakes are vented and mine aren't..ill take more pics and ill measure them....its weird cause the brake pad seems to be larger than the one on mine. As far as me taking them apart........its out of the question.. ;)

Hey whats up? :rolleyes: ....so im working on my girls car :p (95 Eagle talon AWD) and my buddy for whatever reason noticed that the stock brakes on her car are bout 1" larger than the rear brakes on my car (95 eclipse GSX) :eek: , plus the rear brakes on the eagle talon are vented and...

ok so the head is off and yes.....its bad. The gasket itself is good, what we found was that the head gasket was replaced but the head wasnt shaved and the block wasnt decked or clean. Also they reused the old head bolts, which were stretched and we came to the conclusion that they bottomed out...

uh......ok, its still fuel fumes ;),as in the radiator smells like the gas tank

eh...we just got done pouring water in the cooling system and cranking it. It is the headgasket cause all that water went right in the oil so bad headgasket or warped head :thumbdown . Thanks :thumb:

Ok just bought a 95 Eagle Talon.. TSi AWD.. was told it had 'overheating problems'... but we try to crank it over and it cranks and cranks and won't fire up. has spark has great (above average) compression.. but there is.. FUEL in my coolant system! took off the radiator cap and it reeked of...

the special tool... i have done plenty of timing belt jobs on 4g63s and i have not found the need for this tool...i guess it is to push the hydrulictensioner back in so you can put the pin in. However, this can be done using a vice.

you have to switch the injectors as well.....the easiest way (this is the way i did it) is to swap them at the fuel injectors instead of at the ECU, but whatever works for you.also what are u using to get rid of RM...?

hey man that is awsome.....say since you have now become the body and paint expert, i have some questions for ya. My car too is red and 95 and AWD like yours, my buddy got a black 98 front bumper that is in pooor condition, broken from one side to the other..So what would you use to glue it...

it will be a while though..cause next week im tearing apart the GSX to make room for the parts from my GST...once thats done i have to order parts, wait for them to come in. Then my GST will go out of service and i will tear it apart, take out everything and then ill work on the GSX till it...

im in stayton OR... the car is red :p the interior is leather..but the leather interior will go in the GS and the seats, centerconsole from the GS will go in my brothers DODGE avenger. Like i said once im done with everything i will post pics of everything i have left (should be quite a bit)...
