Alright well got her all cleaned up and painted yesterday and I might say she cleaned up nicely. I put the fenders and headlights and other misc. stuff back on before it got dark last night. The accessories and stock cams are almost bolted up to the new motor that will be going into the car...
Well I got this 95 Talon TSI FWD Auto. We got it thinking the timing belt tensioner had just failed and bent the intake valves. Well we replaced the had and believe it or not it had rod knock and the block was warped so bad that the brand new oem HG was leaking also. Well I pulled the motor and...
Alright well a couple of days ago I bought a Eagle Talon TSI for $500 completely stock and auto with working ac and heater. The only thing wrong with it was the timing belt tensioner failed and bent all the intake valves. Well I had a spare head in the garage and all the gaskets to put it back...
Car related stuff would be to get all this stuff in my car:Get the car running like a beast on corn and make it to the shootout this year then rebuild my second motor with weisco and turbo tuff rods and put a even bigger turbo on for next year. Going for atleast a low ten or high 9 pass this...

This happed to me right after putting in the 68hta,950cc injectors and ecmlink. I only went about a hundred yards when my oil pressure dropped. Had someone from the shop bring me some oil and a 24mm socket and ratchet and oil and crawled under the fro t of the car and got it fixed and put oil in...
There will be a 4g V.S. EJ class. DSM's versus the star lovers. Come show the EJ's who has the best 4 cylinders in the USA. There is also a thread on Dallas DSM . I'm hoping to get my car going for the event.

I found someone selling there AEM EMS series 2 from there EVO 8. I have a 97 gst. I am wondering if this is plug and play or will I need to switch some pins around or can I get a adapter harness from AEM. I have seen a thread I believe about this before but can't find it. I have some pics of the...
To be honest Brian I wouldn't want to. You do have douches out there that try and be cheap and then there motor blows up because they went way above the power the motor could handle and blame it on the builder. That is why I am going by what he is telling me to get for my built motor. Might take...
Watts is finally open to the public. Last time I talked to him about building my motor for me that is. He almost sounded like he didn't like that he opened up to the public though. If you tell Watt your power goals he will recommend everything you need for your build so you won't have to worry...
Just for future reference this is what I use to extract broken off studs and whatever else.It is going to be a PITA to drill through that easy out good luck.
It's made of hard material. It has a good thickness to it. The Magnus one just looked to plasticy to me. Here are the pics you wanted let me know if you want more info or pics.
I personally bought the Jays racing one due to it looking more durable. The quality there for sure. If you want better pics of the Jays racing one I can take some of the one I plan on putting on my built motor.
Yeah best way would either buy the rebuild kit and do it yourself or buy a reman rack locally. Those kinda parts that usually come with a lifetime warranty I like sticking with someone local so if it starts leaking agian same day replacement.
So by saying clutch cylinders do you mean clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder? I'm just trying to figure out the mis communication that has been put out there.
Well install the stock injectors back in like said above and run it for about a good 15-20 minutes the pull your dipstick and make sure it dosent smell like gas. If it does go ahead and change your oil.
Seems to me like it is the injectors due to you need the AFC box. Probably will have to wait on the box to get the injector timing right. Seems like you a flooding the car out. Just my opinion.
This is one reason I can't wait to get the car back together. I have a almost 3 year old daughter. Everytime we go out in the garage my daughter says. I drive that LOL. She also says daddies car is in pieces. Just another reason to keep me motivated to get it done.
I have a 97 GST and I live in DFW and was wondering if I sent you my sending unit can you make a setup like this for my car like two Walbro 400lph pumps.
Jesus can you say low spots LOL . Also he does do engine work for people on the forums but sometimes you get what you pay for and with Bogus it is that and it is done right the first time and some people dont want to pay the price. I would have let him build my motor for me if he was only...
Well considering you are getting that bad of wheel hop and haven't destroyed the trans already consider yourself lucky. Seems to me you need to start upgrading your motor mounts and your suspension. To help out in the mean time. Try slipping the transmission a little more and it will help.
I am wondering how to measure the Piston Wrist Pin Wall Thickness. My engine builder is not wanting thinner than a 200 wrist pin wall. If you know so I can measure my Weisco 1400HD pistons for my 7bolt 2g.
I have seen plenty of 2g GSX's that didn't have the high rise on it. Guess it just depended on the person that ordered or actually purchased the car from the dealer.
Just glade to see he got the car back together so quick after the shootout incident. Great job and hope to meet some of you guys at the shoot out next year.
