I pluged a modis to it my knock sensor was pluged in wrong and my terminal 3 wire from the coil harnes to the ecu needed to be replaiced and I had a lose conection that was only makin it running on cyl1 and cyl4 but its all good know I just got some vacuum lines to fix...thanks guys for all the help
ok i got the head gasket put in everything is back together. the car starts and idles better than it did before but i have no throttle response and my check engine light is on from what i can see everything is pluged and and where it should be. any ideas?
well after everything i finally got a head gasket kit and new studs and im just got back in from ripping everything apart still gotta take the intake mani off any help on getting it off would be great and thanks for all the help so far guys... also thinking about getting another waterpump sense...

ok so i ran into so BS with the DMV and i guess my car is not registered all they did was transfer the old plates over. witch dose not make sense because if it was never registered why would i get an emissions test letter and the title in the mail. but any way im getting it re-registered with...
it was running really choppy before i did the belt so i adjusted the cam angle sensor then so wen i did the belt it was off a bit i think the old belt was off a tooth ### it didnt seem to be lined up perfectly when i took it off

ok so today at school i hooked my car to an exhuast gas annalizer because i thought my car was running rich turns out im running very lean. my hydro carbons were up to 3900 ppm and my co2 was at 0.8%. im thinking a bad O2 sensor. i checked my plugs and there not fouled and i ohm checked my plug...
imo i would just rebuid the hole engine. u never know u could rebuild the top end then in 1000 miles the bottom end can go the u gotta rip it apart again. id just do it all at the same time so i dont need to worry about it
just throwomg this out there if u get a 2g and want to put the 1g 6 bolt make sure its a 95 2g because its still obd1. u cant pass emmisions if u have an obd2 car with an obd1 engine. because they wont read anything when they plug the scan tool to the dlc and thats an automatic fail
i know some manual trannys use ATF but i would call the dealer or look at a service manual just to be safe because if its not supoused to have ATF you will be rebuilding ## tranny
check your timing it could be off a couple teeth and when you put it in gear it cant advance the timing enough. something very simular happened to me with my 87 cougar. it jumped some teeth and i had to play with the distributar (i know our cars have coil packs) to get it to stay running...

:ohdamn:umm i wouldnt do that, yes it does work but wen u hook it back up u can fry your CPU or othere senors and computers in the car from the voltage spike when hooking it back up...to test the alternator get a volt meter hook one end to the battery negative and hook the other to the power...
