Crankshaft position sensor!

Okay i might do that, but does anyone know why my car would be very loud from under the front of the cabin. It sounds like the noise is coming from under the driver and passenger seats.

Found the answer myself... The sensor is about $150 from Mitsubishi, but can be bought aftermarket for less. Installation takes about 15 minutes (just elevate the vehicle, go underneath and locate sensor, unbolt and replace).

I Need to replace my crankshaft position sensor. I talked with my mechanic and he said he has to remove the block and timing belt and other stuff to get under the car where its located and its going to be 5 hours of labor. I've been doing some searching on this forum and online and it sounds...

I'm a n00b at alot of electrical stuff, and saw online that autozone can test all your electrical stuff for free (battery, alternator, coils, and some others). I was thinking of taking it there and getting a full run down, would those test be conclusive and all that I need?
