$435 shipped and paypaledWhen I ordered this piece I was ready to have my tcase built. Took almost 3 months to get it and now funds could be used elsewhere. Still in box and in plastic, never removed. Hardware is in the small usps box under the brace in picture. Was close to $500 when purchased.
The ets units are supposed to be so efficient because the Intercooler has interally offset and staggered fins so as air passes through the intercooler it's forced to split multiple times which results in cooler intake air temps. They say vrsf and other cheaper cores are just straight through...
https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/5179517571.htmlThats the craigslist link to the car if any1 wants to check it out. It isn't that far from me. Doubt it will change how most feel about it but it's a lot more descriptive than her short list above. Not to mention a lot more detailed pics.
He didn't necessarily say that. He stated their is no need to upgrade wheels because maximum flow potential of the standard wheel won't be achieved in the bolt on housing. To get the maximum potential out of it the t3 would be the way to go. If you already have everything I say run it to see if...
You have a log log you can post? If your setup is calibrated properly that means your currently flowing more then the advertised amount of the new 68hta. At almost 54lbs per minute that's that in the neighborhood of the green. Someone correct me if im wrong but that means if the boost level was...
Totally agree with Justin above. That's one of the the issues of owning these cars. Its a very wide range of people that own them. Great deals do pop up often but a lot of the time the cheapest route is taken to save a few bucks. A few rpms/psi later you end up spending just as much if not more...
Unsure about the fuel pedal issue but from your description above sounds like a pretty bad exhaust leak. Possibly around the o2 housing/down pipe are if your hearing that much "boost screaming".
The auto gst in my avatar was my dd for a while. Had the same symptoms running wise from time to time. As ChrisSoFresh said it was an injector in my case.
Cross your fingers and hope its only a hole in the pan. I have two blocks here, both with several holes from thrown rods. Neither were visible because of the locations. Even if you can't see them the possibility is still there. The hole was right under the intake manifold near the ac compressor...
Did the previous owner say anything about the car having an aftermarket chip installed,, or possibly dsm link. That could possiby be a shift light. Does it come on at the same rpm every time?
If you don't feel comfortable trying to rebuild or replacing the seals in the TB check out the freelancers under classifieds. Several members offer this service.
The link below should take you to ffwd's
site. They offer a high flow fuel system that consist of braided fuel line, fuel lab filter and mini fpr thats in the same location as the stock unit. If your not a fan of braided line stm offers a similar kit with russel proclassic hose.FFWD Connection...
I have the odyssey battery and Im not too happy with it. It does save a ton of space but if I dont start my car atleast once a week it dies. Im definitely thinking about going with a civic battery and lower it down like stated in the previous posts.
Hopefully this will help narrow down some of the possibilities of what the issue could be. I sold him the parts for the fwd auto swap and it came out of my 98 usdm gst. Parts included were trans, flexplate and bolts, complete unhacked wireharness, axels, trans mounts, pedals, trans cooler, and...
I just sent one to the junk yard on my 98 gst shell. Someone in the part out/want to buy listings should be able to help you out. I believe the name of one of the supporting vendors on here called S&M auto parts (miller auto parts) is like a dsm junkyard. Look them up also. I believe their...
Shoot pj91gsx in the freelancer section a message. He can upgrade your 16g to a 20g or just build you a 20g. My boy marmacn804 is running one and due to some issues with the head on the car boost is set @ 10psi and he only runs it up to about 6k and it pulls hard as hell. Hes in northern VA so...
Does anyone have this gauge or any others like it that can speak on its accuracy. It seems innovative has set the standard for widebands, is this an option they offer?
I agree with above posts also. Start with the smaller things before you go straight into a major money spending rebuild. Pull the rail and see if larger injectors may have been installed. If u didn't get accurate information on what was done to the car just take your time and go over it with a...
If im not mistaken their stock rebuilt head use to be in the $350 range. I could be wrong but that realy doesnt matter at this point. This is just my opinion but at least upgraded to a budget built head. Stock evo beehive springs and retainers are a pretty cheap alternative. I have a stock...
I think it would be a great combination. That is a very fast spooling turbo and the reduced size of the jmf street vs the drag should keep the ve slightly higher than the race. Will be much more efficient at higher rpms than the stock manifold also. I couldnt find this guy on tuners by his...
Downipe if not already installed and fmic kit. More free flowing filter to help it breath better. Plugs wise bpr6es or bpr7es (i run 7's with factory spec gap) and a good set of wires is pretty much up to you. I wouldnt push the t25 past 15/16 pounds. A 1g bov is a great upgrade because the 2g...
Some food for thought, its a pretty old thread but im sure it may be helpful.
