long story short, my hair dryer (T25) crapped out on me, and i needed a replacement.. instead of getting a newer t25, a buddy of mine had a decent 14b (no shaft play at all, spins like a champ) so we threw it on. Im hoping if i throw a new actuator on, it will fix it..

On that picture, the 2 bolts that are attached to the turbine housing is what im talking about.. Not where it is attached to the manifold where the flaps are located. I will remove those spacers, and test it out.

Ok so then i should try to essentially "open" up the wastegate by tightening the bolt ? How should i proceed? Ill try to take a picture to show whats going on.. Its hard to explain.. Its not "unhooked" but it may be stuck closed. does that clarify at all?

Just got a 14B and a OEM 2G ported/polished head installed. Boy does it run smooth... Going to have to get used to the 14B not spooling as quickly, but it sure does pull more in the top end.. Pushing around 17-19 psi, and it actually holds at that psi longer. Excited to see what i can...

Its definitely oil. Its bluish. I check the oil every day. I have to add oil to it every once and a while. im hoping and preying its only the turbo seals.. When i rev it up in neutral, it also emits the smoke.

I just noticed one of my header bolts is missing. Could I fix it temporarily by using a fitted bolt to screw right in? I'm trying to avoid taking the whole header off and installing the stud.. Any suggestions?

I tried myself a couple of times buy became frustrated when it read 60 psi exactly for every cylinder. I even recorded the session pointing my camera at the gauge each time to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. I also thought it could have been a faulty gauge? The MFI circuit thing is located...

I've also read smoke from exhaust sometimes means oil in the intercooler. If so, I'm willing to try to clean it. Soap and water? Nething special?

I would say blue smoke, oil. Doesnt run hot at all ever since I had the radiator flushed.. i did notice it ran a bit hot while traveling up longer than normal hills, etc.. but not anymore... compression test = get the tool, take out the spark plugs, and pressurize it right? The smoke smells...

Same problem here. Sometimes when I stop at a stoplight, and accelerate, a small amount of white smoke shoots out of exhaust. just changed the oil 200 miles ago.. The car runs strong.. It is a bit embarassing though, lol.

I had my engine read today and it also pulled a P1400 MDP error. The car runs great, my EGR is blocked. Any reccommendations?
