Hello, i spun my rear balnce shaft bearing
Do i need to install the rear bearing to block off oil gallary if i'm using the stubby shaft?
Some threads say the rear bearing is not needed with stubby shaft?

Hi just spun my balance shaft bearing. Do i need to remove the engine completely to remove the front case? Would it be possible to just buy a new bearing and pound it in? Thanks
When I give the car throttle slowly the car will go into boost but if i push on the throttle rapidly of immedietly the car will hit a wall of boost. meaning the turbo will spool but my car won't go anywhereI've made sure there is no boost leaks?! what could this be thanks Dave

no it is not rusted the pulley is in perfect condition i had to take the tensioner arm and pulley to get to the water pump bolts. now i'm not sure how to install them back on properly.I'm not sure if the arm is installed in the correct postion it dosen't pivot and the pulley only moves when...
I just took off the tensioner arm and pulley i don't know how to resinstall the arm and pulley so they can rotate freely the way i have it installed right now they wont move at all any help appreciated thanks!

Update: I ran it without the thermostat and tested the thermostat it still over heats. However i don't get any leaks from the water pump pulley but the pulley is squeaking (not a grind) like most people have when water pump is bad. Hmmm... any input would be great!

When i replaced my head i accidentley spilled power steering fluid all over alternator and my car would idle rough and i would have tot push start it turned out it uruined my alternator.
My friend bought a stage 2 motor off ebay rebuilt and the compression test was damm good just make sure to contact seller and see if other people have bought the same product you can usually tell if they are legit
I had to swap to a 1g CAS i went through the same situation excpet backwards i have a 97 and i was switching to the 95 head i run copper wire over to the CAS and no luck. When i put my 1g CAS started right up

Try checking your CAS you could proboly pick one up a CAS from craiglsist pretty cheap i had a bad CAS and had same issue i just picked up a 1G CAS solved the issue.

Yeah that is correct if you are purchasing the upgrade package witch comes with the cables the chip and software. Assuming that your eprom ecu is socketed.
