The only thing that has saved this turbo is the larger thrust bearing, The stock size steel/bronze thrust would eat itself inside a week on my car pushing that. But with the upgraded thrust I havnt had a issue and recommend it for any turbo.

You can use the MAF plug/harness for the 5V for the map sensor. If you can pick up a maf sensor for pennies or a broken one you can make a plug and play harness urself.

You are still wrong. You CAN flash the evo 8 ecu using a ebay vagcom kkl cable. All you need to do is provide the 12V on the flashing pin. You dont even need to "hack" the cable to this.
