I'm selling my shell. Was an auto GST, I swapped it to a manual GSX. Kalapana black paint in beautiful condition. ZERO rust (was always a Florida car, I'm located in Ventura county now). Full interior except for front seats and steering wheel. Also needs wheels, suspension and everything that...
And I officially purchased my DSM's own tow vehicle yesterday :D I just need to borrow a trailer and everyone will see my car at the Shootout this year07 Toyota Tundra crewmax. Leather, sunroof, heated seats, bluetooth, the whole 9 yards. I absolutely love it :D
I found this video helpful, it tells you a couple different options when it comes to technique.Im going to leave the catch can bare silver. Ive got enough pink & purple in my bay, Id like to leave some things silver as a contrast.
Ive seen the brake line tuck on other cars, and I like how clean it looks. I didn't want to paint over them, it seems very half-assed. If I took them off to paint, I might as well move them completely out of the way, haha.Yes, everything else is staying the same. Built head, turbo, etc.
Im pretty much updating this thread for my own personal record. I've noticed how dead forums have gotten since Facebook pretty much took over for the dumbasses that don't like to look for answers to questions.Anyways... I found an AWD donor shell! Its complete (no engine), all I need is an AWD...
Someone messaged me and asked for an update on the thread because I haven't posted in awhile. My passion for DSM's has slowed down a little, I've been bitten by the 2-wheel bug and bought a bike. But it will keep my occupied as I've decided to pull the stock 6-bolt block and built it to a...
You just have to know how to shop. I bought all 4 calipers for $400, the adapter is $80, and I found someone getting rid of a full set of pads & rotors for $100. That's $580, I'll be about $1000 invested after power coating and rebuilding them. Totally worth it.
Evo Brembos, Galant knuckles or the adapters, & Evo rotors & pads. And as previously stated, atleast Evo offset wheels. I'm running 17x9 +35s to fit Brembos.I've also seen the 3G brake master cyclinder suggested, but not mandatory.

I'm running speed density on a black box. My tuner purchased the ROM from the Ceddy site, so I didn't need to pay for it.But if you're going to tune your own car, yes, you will need to purchase it.
"Sell" your car to a relative you trust and lives out of state. Register it in the other state. Keep California insurance.I've been here a month, seen tons of cops, never get hassled. Then again, I dont drive like an idiot.
FS: 17x9 +42 5Zigen FN01r-C wheels wrapped in 255/40/17 Bridgestone Potenza RE11a tires. These wheels were professionally painted the same Kalapana Black as my car. No curb rash. No bends. Excellent condition for wheels that are driven daily. Includes all 4 centercaps. The tires have a LOT...
Yea, I just sent them the dyno sheet and explained I'm now running a new 20g setup, I guess they didn't really know how to put it together. The 20g is going to make about the same power anyways, so I'm not too worried about correcting it
StanceNation featured my husband and I. Pretty funny to see a page all about form post about cars that were built for function, lolStanceNation: His & Hers - Justin & Jax's Mean Evo & Eclipse
Yes, it was vinyl wrapped. I never noticed how hard it was to capture the embossed vinyl under it until I looked through his photos and tried to find a good one, lolAnd then I talked him into ditching vinyl...And painting it Lexus Starfire Pearl White :)
I offered up the reigns on the meets to anyone that wanted to take them over, lol. The people are there, someone just needs to take the initiative to get them together.Everyone can join the Jax Evos group on Facebook. They all get together fairly often.
Usually I would agree, but if its something you've never done before and you're looking for some experienced guidance, most Jacksonville locals do more harm than good (which is kinda how the OP got into this spot in the first place.)The only thing I had to travel out of town for was a tune...
Great work, Kyle. I'm sad I didn't get to see it in person before we moved! I'm extremely jealous, but I'm right along with everyone else in doing the same thing once I buy a house, haha.
I will definitely be at the Shootout :) Justin might be on deployment, thoughNah, I'm not very forgetful. Plus, the plastic retainer just allows the gas cap to lay on your paint and scratch it up.
I doubt I'll ever want to go back to the 1/4 mile. I'm focusing all my time on making it a better auto-x car.Virtual dyno reads high if you make it read high. If you put in all the information correctly, it reads accurately. I've logged Dynojet runs, and the hp reads the same on the Dynojet...
I was running e85, but we were using the timing map from my old pump has tune that I had when I ran my HY35.I'm seriously impressed it came this far with so little work, lol. Im more concerned with it hitting boost a lot sooner than the power she makes, but it would be nice to break the 20g...
Started the tuning on the new 20g. Here it is on pump gas timing and still in the 10's AFR wise. After fixing a couple issues, this beast is gonna be close to 500hp again, lolProfile is up to date with mods.
