    nope no gasket and use any kind of engine degreaser and a small brush on the tuff stuff just dont get water in it

  13. Oil Leak Help

    look around the oil pump housing gasket and check for grooves from the old seal on the crank wouldn't hurt to degrease the entire area (since it still runs) befor you disassemble everything so when you take it apart you can see exactly what was leaking so you dont have to do this twice

    new parts are always least expected to be bad having said that it sounds like a bad thermostat replace it again try a mitsu one

    sounds like a thermostat one hose should get hot first then the other when the thermo opens if the both warm up at the same time thermo is stuck open

    look into the hole the sensor came out of and look at the gear inside the tranny make sure its there and looks ok

    and unbolt the bracket if the line runs through it and leave it in the car

    swap the coils with each other and see if the code switches to the other coil if it moves its the coil if it doesnt then i would look at the wiring

    use bout the same amount of tension on all belts easy reule of thumb is you want the belt to be tight to the point you can twist the belt less than a 1/2 to 1/4 or acual way to correctlly check id to deflect the belt bout 1/2 to 1 inch from a straight line depending on which belt

    the best advise i can come up with is lift all four tires take off the offending wheel and put the lug nuts back on and use a screwdriver to press on different parts to figure out whats causing the noise

    i would start by checkin te small wire at the starter for te 12 from the key while cranking or send 12 v to that terminal and if it cranks te starter is good

    you arew looking at removing the head and inspecting it to see if new guides can be pressed into the head all to common the damage is so bad new guides wont stay in the head (due to galling from the floating guide)requirin it to be replaced or so serious macine shop work if it worth it

    next time it acts up take a 194 (small peanut bulb) and stick the little wires on it into the inj plug and see if it flashes if it doesnt flash while cranking or running check you wiring if its oh then the ecu is crapping out if it is flashing and the inj isnt clicking then the inj is bad or...

    yes the alarm can deffinatly cause the pump to go out that is ussually what they will tap into as the "safety feature" i would rip all that crap out and see what u get worse come to worse you could always just wire a fuel pupm relay in line to the pump to check and see if you have injector pulse...

    check and see if the fuse loses power in the on or run position(when they dont work) i believe they should have power all the time ..... does anything else stop working ?

    i would put them back the orignal way but just for safety check the wires with a dvom for resistance (ohms) along the wire your slpicing back in and between ground there may be a bad wire or a poor ground in there hence the additional splice to avoid the bad wire

    Wouldnt hurt to have a starter draw test performed eiter ... Never know the starter could be on its way out easy test and quick

    If you want to know for sure if its a round problem take a dvom and one lead to battery gground and te other to block if you get a voltage reading more than .5 volts then its a ground problemif no voltage is found do same test at ecu ground

    Is the fluid aratered (filled with bubbles)if not then its prob the power valve in the rack (at the press inlet port)

    quickest and eaciet (and cheapest) way to chheck next time swap injectors around and see if the code moves to a NEW CYLINDER IF IT DOESNT INJECTOR IF NOT WIRING OR ECU
