I had oil in mine from a defective vc that had a chunk missing out of it when i built my motor, oil got in there and I never cleaned it out. I Just blew my hg and now I am going to clean everything. But the oil in that sensor was the misfire cause on my buddies car.
My final tq is 90, I would not go past that because its pushing it. Follow the torqe spec sequence others are saying. I went 20/30/50/60/80/90 thats what slo2gen told me.
Mine does the same thing, and the only thing I have not checked is the crank sensor. Unplug yours and see if there is oil in there. I know when they get wet they act funny.
No need to wait for the turbo to wait and build the motor. Built the motor now and break it in some (even tough breaking in a motor is a myth) I dont break them in nor does buschur. I drove my 8.8:1 motor unboosted for like 30 miles then i cam across a turbo kit for a decent price. I have been...
Do it right man, you just dumped a good amount of money into the thing, you dont want to be back at square one again. Slo2gen will not point you in the wrong direction.
I can vogue for both zacs cars....He no longer messes with low comp....its boring and a dog out of boost, I already want to build a high comp motor for my 2gnt.
I am running a godspeed turbo for 2k miles now so far no problems, I do not plan on keeping it much longer.....Only till I can save up for a turbo manifold to be made so I can run a holset
Should of went with the OEM Mopar MLS but you will be fine, All in the prep work and if the head is flat. I am using copper spray on my Mopar gasket when it gets here thurs. I know alot of others who use it also.
I bet the car is quick, its legit! Well I lowered the raise rate in the sfmu and im at 10.5 i think but I pulled the head to change the head gasket and im pretty sure im gonna wire in ms while im at it.
Well there was one time i ran it for a little at 9.9 rich in boost. i really hope i didnt wash my walls. If i did im giving up. How would I tell if I did? Im done with the sfmu ms is getting wired in
Dont look at the diaphragm, if that was torn you would spike boost. As we asked post pics please. Now go look at the valve on the wastegate and see if thats broken.
Im tuning it with the sfmu only thing i really can right now. only at 10 because of the stock clutch and my af ratios in boost are like 10.5 i want a 11.5. Cobo ill txt ya in a little.
You have not done what others suggested to do with the wastegate. Take the 2 bolts off and see if the valve is working. Never knew MS had a overboost protection.
It costs nothing to wire tuck. I bought a multi spool of different gauge wire from harbor freight for 40, sodder for 12 and heat shrink and electrical tape. about 60 bucks total. Made the bay so much cleaner.
I was told not to burn while im cruising because it will mess up the VE tables etc. I wish someone was close to me to give me the run down on ms in person.
Post some pictures of the setup please, will help us better solve your issue, also take the wastegate off and see if the valve is working right. Make sure its not bent or snapped. Also check shaft play in the turbo (in/out and up/down)
Your wastegate sounds like its broken, the valve isnt opening all the way creating the desired boost. That pop you heard may had been a pop from the turbo, ripped ic coupler its really hard to say.
