Yes is going to make a huge difference. Because of that gap the compressor wheel is not going to be efficient to build pressure. You are going to need a rebuild kit need a compressor wheel and housing, then it needs to be rebalance. My opinion take the turbo to a professional shop that turbo...

Your have bad rotors, do a run out test to see if they are out of spec and remember every time you replace rotor replace the pads too, if you don't do that you are going to mess up your new rotors. :thumbup:
