I wanted to bring this back because I need a q45 throttle body for my build and my question is what year throttle body does it have to be? I just found 90-94 90mm tbs on eBay and am wondering will that fit on my jm fab smim? Thanks in advance for the help as I need to buy one soon

You can adjust the base idle set screw but I wouldnt advise it without dsmlink

+1 on fixing the boost leaks first.

Startup is a tad high but should be fine and normal idle is 750 and 850 with a/c on.

Not being sarcastic at all just wondering, aren't they the same except that the b&m offers two throw reductions? I have a Megan short shifter in my gst and am pleased with the performance.

What makes your b&m better?

I had the same problem last summer. Turned out to be the voltage regulator, so I replaced the alt and it was back to normal. Hope this helps

Ok thanks Justin. I'm slowly learning. So I guess for me it boils down to the 82hta or the 3082. I probably will be staying 2.0 and its mainly a street car so I maybe should just do the 3082 unless spool time on the 82hta is not much different. Thanks again for the help, it is appreciated!

Ok I think I'm getting it. So when I order the dsm82hta that I plan on getting, its a 3582 in a gt30 style housing?
