There is a way to do it. I had friends get a air hose and put it through the sparkplug hole and blow air in the cylinder enough to keep the valve up while there is no spring and replace it
Why shouldnt you? Isnt the G4CS the 6bolt version of the 4G64? So, wouldn't they have the same type of piston and rod setup? I am just asking because I am just getting fimiliar with the 4G64 because I just picked one up but, im not too fond of the G4CS.
