I poked around a bit to try and find a "how to" on removing the heater box so I can try and fix it. Does anyone have a link handy they could throw up for me. I know it is the "door" that controls how much cold/hot air come into the cab, it is stuck open so only cold air is being blown into the...
Thank you for the reply. Before the arm broke I would turn the temp control knob to hot and it would be forced about half way back to the cold side. There is something wrong inside the heater box. If it was just replacing the arm, that would not be a big deal and I would not have posted here :P...
Ok, So my car barely blows warm air @ normal operating temps. My heater temp control is busted. With that being said there is a little white plastic arm that goes to the temp control under the dash on the bottom of the heater box and it is snapped off. I grab what is left of it with pliers and...
Here is a quick cruise log. If someone wouldn't mind taking a look to see if anything it out of the ordinary it would be much appreciated. I have the NB SIM w/ a AEM wideband logged with Lin WB, I just cant find the place to put in my own values for logging such as Volts and Lambda. Thanks, Kyle
It looks like a front cover, I have been known to be wrong before though lol.KyleEDIT: How do you like the Pacesetter Mani? I have heard different things.
If you plan on this being a weekend/track car and trying to max it out, I would do cams and cam gears all at once. Then when you are ready to degree them they are already on there. That is my .02¢Kyle
What company do you work for? My buddy was stationed in VA i believe and he was getting parts for a decent price for his s2000 since they were proto-types.Kyle
I believe you knew the answer we would give before you even posted that question on THIS forum. Which leads me to believe you want to keep the GSX. You are just looking for approval.KyleEDIT: My friend had a modded s2000, not much more than stock power levels you will blow threw...
If you are at normal operating temps then the fans will be cycling on and off which can and will affect logs. Try un-plugging the fans for a few min while you get an idle log.Kyle
I was wondering if a couple people with the VRSF FMIC could post up pics with what they did for their coolant reservoir? I am trying to find a good spot for it that does not look like crap. Right now I have it zip tied somehwat in the stock location but it is angled and look like doo doo...
I was going to suggest phantom knock/picking something else up considering you were at 14% throttle. I have my ALS/knock set to 3000 just because it picks up my little bit of lifter tick below that.
Ok, to easy. I am not to anal at this point and time. I will fine tune it more when it warms up outside a bit. That is when I will start WOT tuning and all that good jazz. Thanks for your time Imback.Kyle
I did look at that page before to try and solve this issue. I just didn't see anything to where I can adjust what link is logging. I may be missing it...which a very good possibility lol. I have heard many great things about the lc 1 WB but as it sits right now I have to do the best with what I...
Ok, so I have a AEM UEGO and have the wire going to the Front o2 pin at the ECU. My issues is that the gauge and the log do not match at all. I have heard that there are some issues with the AEM gauge in link but I am not sure how to correct it so they both read the same. Link is reading way...
Here is a quick idle log. I believe I have it setup fairly well according to the demos on ECMlink.com. If anyone sees anything way out of wack let me know. Thanks, Kyle
^ROFL honda seats, let the bashing commence.
< not gangster but installed a VRSF FMIC, Fuel Labs FPR and finishing the gauge install today
v Hopefully does not have honda seats
Did you disconnect the battery before installing it? I would pull all the fuses in the cab AND in the engine bay to check them. I was messing with my stereo and ended up blowing a fuse under the hood. It had the same symptoms that you are experiencing right now. Replaced the blown fuse and all...
Oh, yea I remember posting that. That was referring to calling people immature and then attacking me for putting my name at the end of the posts(which is immature ;)). But I figured why fan the flames. So sad.Kyle
It has absolutely 0 to do with your opinion what so ever. You have only stated the same thing 5 times. I am not insulting you per-say. If you took it that way I apologize. I was just getting a laugh because your a Debbie Downer to a good laugh.Kyle
I like the bold part and he is asking us how old we are. Not even a proper quote, had to add his own immature flare to it. It is amazing really. Can't even get a good chuckle at some stories till someone starts taking stuff to serious and ruining a LOL.Kyle
And I really don't see any bitching in the stories here. I find them more funny than anything as does 99% of everyone in this thread, because they are true....except the ONE guy going after people...LMAO! Must have an issue with story time.Kyle
I bought the rad/fan/shroud kit as well. I put the fans on the shroud and I had the same issue. What I did you get all the bolts to line up is loosen all of them as far as you can without them falling out/just barely started. I was able to get them all started and all of them fit. It just took a...
I guess it is one of the things we have to deal with driving cars that look like ours. People always want to test us. It makes me angry, I hardly get angry but it happens more often with stupid drivers.I drive somewhat faster than the speed limit but I stay in one lane and do not swerve lane...
JL audio FTW, I have 2x10" W3's in a sealed box with a 200x2 channel Kenwood amp. I like's it alot :P The reason for the 10's is I don't listen to a lot of "RAP", I listen to Rise Against, Hollywood Undead, etc etc. When you are tuning your amp for the way you want your subs to sound do NOT...
