Well, I decided to put my Eclipse up on Craigslist. I don't have the time or patience to finish it anymore and I need a pickup truck ASAP for work. If anyone lives around Western Massachusetts and is interested, send me a PM.1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST - 5-Speed Turbo
- Changed my transmission fluid.
- Installed a universal battery tie down.
- Was going to take my rear wheels to get new rubber installed on them, but I left my lug nut wrench at my friend's house.I noticed that my stock SMIC is missing two bolts. I think they are 12mm, but I'm not sure...
There's so much room behind the radio in my car, but I'm not sure about the 2G. You should try to find a LCD screen around the size of a 2 DIN radio and build a shuttle PC. You could stuff it behind the radio area.
Really? Because the shop near my house that I called quoted me at $3,000. I still have another month or two until I have the money saved up, but I'm going to talk to him in greater detail about everything he plans on doing.
I have no idea what it was. It was a 19mm bolt on the top of the transmission. Like, the tranny fill plug is on the front, this is right on top.Anyways, I finally found the real drain plug, ran to sears and got a 24mm socket and drained the fluid. It was really nasty and smelled like 5 year...
Well, I think I put a quart and a half of tranny fluid into the bell housing. I thought the tranny fluid fill plug was the drain plug and the bell housing fill plug was the tranny fluid fill plug. Finally found the real drain plug though, haha. Will the fluid I put into the bell housing screw...
Okay, what the hell is going on here? When I parked the car in November, the car was grinding in between gears, so I took off the drain plug and no fluid came out.I just put a quart and a half of Syncromesh in the fill plug to try to flush out any metal shaving or whatever before I fill...
Beer in the morning is great, but not when I haven't had my coffee.Woke up at 10:30, made a coffee, took the front wheels off, smoked a bowl, went to have the rims mounted to the new tires, got a haircut and got new shorts, picked up the tires, got home and started drinking while washing the...
Took the car cover off today for the first time since November!
I only have two jack-stands so I took the two front wheels to get the new tires mounted on them. She's flying! The front passenger axle was missing a cotter pin because the 1.25" nut covering it is rusted shut covering the...
Sorry for the grave-dig but I didn't want to start a new thread just for this. The oil gauge on my Eclipse stopped working and I noticed the oil pressure wire was all rusted out and dirty. If I understand correctly there are 2 parts for the oil pressure sending unit. The bell shaped oil...

I just started work last week. They started me off at $10.35/hr and I get a raise every 600 hours. However, they always put money into my pension fund and health insurance that I don't even see come out of my check, so its more like $15/hr.
Will this actually not fit 90-94? It says in the description 95-99 and I can't seem to find one that style that would fit mine. Not trying to spend $80 on a cover.
Congratulations on your new car. Be prepared for it to nickle and dime you for a year or two getting it back into shape. I bought mine for $1,000, but $1,000 into it and still need to get the top end rebuilt. And most importantly remember that a car will run forever as long as you keep...
I'm ordering a set of relatively cheap summer tires today. I don't know anything about tires, but what do you guys think of these? Yokohama S.drive205/55's would fit, right?

Hey guys,Finally started work this week! First step is to buy new tires. My car is missing the center caps for the rims. Anyone know where I can buy four OEM center caps for the rims? I plan on painting my rims gold too.
I need to replace the head gasket, timing belt and a few other things. Need to fix the leaking power steering line. Need new tires. I'm sure other things will surface once I fix those.:rocks:
Yeah but a lot people who want to "throw some 18s in this bi***," rarely care about the rest of the setup. I've seen too many people running subs on stock speakers. Upgrade the speakers first then worry about the bass in my opinion.:coy:
Believe me when I say that you don't need anything other than one 10" or 12" in an Eclipse. Its a small hatchback. Anything more and you won't even be able to hear the speakers over the bass.
